We dedicate this research to our God for all his good acts and plentiful grants that we have
experienced throughout our whole life. We also dedicate this research to our Family and Friends

SUMMARY, FINDINGS, RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION
SUMMARY
Discipline in the contemporary classrooms is a challenge to most of the educators. The real
challenge lies in the implantation of discipline measures and procedures that uphold order in the
classroom with understanding and compassion and more importantly, in the development of selfdiscipline in learners.
Also, one of the prominent factors influencing the learning environment is the conduct of the
learners maintaining discipline is seen a major problem and is a source of stress to educators. But
the researchers believe that the educators can handle their students in good way.
The researchers adopted to understand the Corporal punishment and to answer the research
questions to explore the meaning of corporal punishment by individual educator, the challenges
that educators are faced with in their classrooms.
