Coin Vend Interface

The MX-M850-1100 series machines have a coin vend interface located on the PCU Main PWB
[CN-10]. The vending device activates various signals to indicate paper sizes and operation.
Because of additional functionality, the interface connector is 16 pins (same specification as the
MX2300-700N series).
Connector Manufacture:
Connector Type
Connector Part Code (Wire Side)

JST (www.jst.com)
PND series
PNDP-16V-Z

Before connecting a third party auditor, the device should confirm to the following:1. The auditor interface should be optically isolated from the copier.
2. The device should be Power Supply Unit independent.
3. The device power supply unit should be a plug top adapter, not internal.
4. The plug top adapter should have a reinforced insulation barrier.
5. The audit device MUST comply and display the relevant safety approval mark (C-Tick,
CE equivalent).
To enable coin vend function, test simulation 26 03 should be set as required:-

Is it possible to Tandem an MXM850/950/1100 series machine

with MX Colour or
MX-M350-700 devices?

Advice
Tandem operation between MX-M850/950/1100 with
MX Colour or MX-M350-700 devices is not supported.
You can only tandem an MX-M850/950/1100 with
another "Hercules" device:eg. MX-M850 with MX-M1100.

Remove and refit all connectors on the lamp/scanner

PWBs. In addition, check the cable tie on the scan
lamp (front frame) is positioned correctly and not
pinching the harness.
This may be caused by a change of paper transport
speed when entering the "nip" of the fuser rollers.
Only when the above symptom is experienced,
install the attached special PCU firmware
V01B06H0 which improves the fuser rotation speed
control when using A3 size media with Heavy
Paper Mode 4 (300gsm).
The setting for Sim 8-20 (transfer control) may be
incorrect. Adjust to the default values:MXM850 set to 40.
MXM950 & MXM1100 set to 25
Varying contact resistance between the MG Roller
shaft & bearing causing incorrect DV Bias.
Add MG Spring MSPRC3855FCZZ to the MG
Roller shaft.

MXM850

Constant paper jams when

exiting the main engine.

This may be caused by the disconnection of the

secondary AC Power cord. Check the AC Cord and
ensure the power is switched on.
In addition, this can be easily identified by checking
the image of the MFP within the Operation display. If
the secondary power is off, no output devices (ie.
