Reporting using S_AHR* reports:
Purpose:
Travel Management provides some standard reports that can allow you to track and
analyse statistical data such as trip totals, etc. for employee trips.
Overview:
These reports will report on certain criteria but also the wiki will provide inf
ormation on the layout and optimize runtime feature as well as where the data is
derived from and how to update statistical data.
Standard reports S_AHR on Statistics*
The following standard reports are offered in Travel Management each with their
own reporting possibilities, depending on the report some of these will derive f
rom RPR_TRIP_COST_ASSIGNMENT_DATA and so drill down to the technical statistics
table (PTRV_SCOS) whilst others will only derive PTRV_HEAD and PTRV_PERIO at he
ader level.

Many of the statistical reports are looking to the transparent tables contained
in logical database PTRVP (Travel). These reports can then be modified by using
RPR_TRIP_COST_ASSIGNMENT_DATA which allows you to then adjust the header detail
s to include for example relevant cost assignments and retrieve this data from P
TRV_SCOS but if this still does not fit the requirement then you would need to l
ook to the logical database PNP (Personnel Admin) or PTRVP depending on what is
required and refer to the further section on ad-hoc reporting and tcode SQ01, et
c. or by modifying RPR_TRIP_DATA_BLOCK_LIST (S_AHR_61016405)
Runtime "Optimize" Feature:
If you find when running the report that a selection criteria returns no result,
then this could be due to incorrect use of the field Runtime and the checkbox O
ptimize in the selection variant:
The F1 help for the checkbox 'optimize runtime' on the selection screen of the r
eport explains the behaviour and why certain fields are not visible or filled:
Run time optimization active
If run time optimization is active, only the data in the visible list area is se
lected from the database. The fields of the invisible area (e.g. non visible sel
ection( are not filled. In this case, the invisible area fields can be activated
in the list, but no data is displayed.

So you must either include these fields into the default list variant or start t
he report with the checkbox 'optimize runtime' unset."
Updating Statistical data:
Finally, if you make any changes to your customizing and then find that the stat
istical data is not returning as expected, please ensure to run the report "RPR_
UPDATE_TRAVEL_STATISTICS" to update the statistical data (see the KBA 1527509)
