DOS & DONTS FOR ES/VLSI LAB

Student entering / using the DSP/VLSI Lab are required to

follow the understated instructions:
1. Remove your shoes before entering the lab and place ii properly on the
shoe shelf provided.
2. Bags/Books are supposed to be kept properly at the book shelf provided
in front of the lab.
3. Switch on the computer and login through the student account provided.
4. Student are requested to use the same terminal during their regular lab
classes through the semester.
5. Student are director to use only the softwares required during the lab
classes. Anyone found guilty of accessing any other applications and
system resources will be punished and will not be allowed to use the lab
resources further.
6. No one is allowed to access/browse internet and play computer games.
Anyone found guilty will be punished and banned from the class for
whole semester.
7. Switch off the terminal properly after the use including the monitor.
8. Make sure that every things is in its original place and nothing is
missing.
9. If you find any peripherals missing from the terminal you are using,
inform to concern teacher/Jr. Engineer as soon as possible.
10.
Arrange the chair and other items you have used at proper places
before leaving.
11.
Using of mobile phones inside the lab is strictly prohibited. Anyone
found guilty will be punished and the mobile phone is to be confiscated
by the respected staff in the lab.
12.
Student are not supposed to move around in the lab during the
conduction of classes.
13.
No extra work will be allowed during the running of regular lab
classes.
