Project Title: Coding and Robotics for the Elementary Grades
Navigation: The navigation will use involve a set of tabs that will load individual pages. The
purpose is to make a linear user experience in which moving back and forth between pages,
especially during the summative assessment is possible.

Content

Page will introduce the user to the use of coding and robotics in the elementary
school setting.

Pairings of different devices will be introduced with desktop computers and a


focus on mostly iPad apps with robotic devices connected through

Content

Specific coding apps looking at the types of graphic drag and drop apps that are
appropriate for younger students will be presented.

Fourth Page - Robotic Examples


Content

This page will introduce the many types of robotic options that can be used at

the elementary school age including, Osmo, Parrot Drones, Dash and Dot, etc.

Fifth Page - Introduction to Osmo


Content

This page will focus on one type of app that uses external triggers to specifically
help a student learn how to code.

Several pictures will show how the app works with external triggers to promote
learning.

Sixth Page - Challenge Introduction


Content

This page will focus on the simple types of challenges that teachers can start out
with that introduce math concepts through problem solving and using robotic
devices to check that code correctly solves the problem.

Seventh Page - Assessment of Learning


Content

An assessment page will check for understanding of concepts and content with
feedback given on write or wrong answers.

Internet form in which answers will be submitted and stored for later display

User will answer questions and submit choices when done.

Eighth Page - Certificate of Completion


Content

A certificate form will be generated with data that was stored from the
assessment.
