SOMEANYNOEVERY-

- We normally use somebody / someone, something, somewhere in affirmative sentences:


* Look! Theres something under that chair.

* Somebody called you yesterday.

- We use anybody / anyone, anything, anywhere in negative sentences and questions.


* There isnt anybody in the house.

* Is there anybody here?

- But we often use somebody / someone, something, somewhere in requests and in offers:
* Can somebody help me?

* Would you like something to eat?

- We use nobody / no one, nothing, nowhere in negative sentences with affirmative verb:
* I cant see anything
* They dont go anywhere

* They go nowhere.

- We use singular verbs with all these words:


* Everything is expensive nowadays.

* We cant go shopping. Everywhere is closed.
