Reach the interview venue well in time that would avoid unnecessary tension. If you
are not aware of the venue, try to know it before, if possible, visit the place to be comfortable
with the location details.

When ever you are going for the interview, present your self with clean, well pressed
clothes, polished shoes/footwear, comb your hair neatly. Remember, the way you dress up,
shows your attitude towards yourself. It also builds up your confidence. Shabby & casual
dress, casual attitude, indecent Behaviour doesnt help you any way.

Walk in to the room confidently and with a smile. Establish eye contact, greet the
interviewer with namaskar or shake hand as per the situation.

Speak distinctly in a pleasant tone and relaxed manner. Have control over your voice
and volume. Listen to the interviewer carefully, understand the question and then reply
appropriately without haste. If you are unaware of the answer, politely admit it and let
him/her know how you would try to know it.

Before going to attend the interview, know about the company in advance about their
history, products or services.

Avoid unnecessary talk/arguments with the interviewer be it any matter. Answer to the
point unless the interviewer insists you to talk more about the subject.

Try to put in front of the interviewer your carrier goals/strengths/weakness/hobbies/
commitment to the job. How you would use your strengths, how you would over come your
weaknesses.

Try to relate your past experience with the position existing, how it would be utilized

Never ever complain about the past company/boss/job, try to explain the reason why
you are looking for the change with logical justification. Try to explain what ever qualities
you developed in you from past job/company rather than complaining.
10) Carry a hard copy of your updated resume; relevant documents (at least Xerox copies)
while going for the interview, if call letter is available, carry it without fail. Carry your latest
pass port size photos sufficient in number.
11) If you are carrying mobile to the venue of interview, before entering the room of
interview, ensure your mobile is switched off or selected to silent mode to avoid unnecessary
disturbance during the time of interview.
