REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2015-305

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 31 (A) AND 33 OF REGULATION
ORDINANCE NO. 2004-149 OF THE ENVIRONMENT CODE OF ILOILO
CITY

WHEREAS, Sections 31 (a) and 33 of the Regulation Ordinance No. 2014-149 of the
Environment Code oflloilo City provides as follows:

"Section 31. Regulating Garbage Disposal, Cleanliness and Sanitation

a. Municipal Wastes - x x x x x x x x. It may also arrange a weekly or
twice-weekly schedule for yard and garden sweeping and cuttings as
well as other special wastes and for which a service fee of Three
Hundred Pesos (P 300.00) per trip is charged.xx xx xx xx

Section 33. Tipping Fee

xx xx xx xx. The City Government shall charge tipping fees for
deliveries of solid wastes at the dumpsite of Brgy. Calajunan at
the rate of Ninety Pesos (P 90.00) per cubic meter".
WHEREAS, the Solid Management Board of Iloilo City resolved to increase the Tipping
Fee for private haulers and other municipal haulers as well as the Service Fee for arranged

schedule for yard and garden sweepings and cuttings as well as other special wastes/garbage
collection for its disposal to reflect the true and updated cost for such services;
WHEREFORE, let it be ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Iloilo City in
session assembled, that Sections 31 (A) and 33 of Regulation Ordinance No. 2014-149 of the
Environment Code oflloilo City, be amended as follows:

"Section 31. Regulating Garbage Disposal, Cleanliness and Sanitation

a. Municipal Wastes - xx xx xx xx. It may also arrange aweekly or
twice-weekly schedule for yard and garden sweeping and cuttings
as well as other special wastes and for which a service fee of ONE
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P 1,500,001 per trip is
charged.xxxxxxx
Section 33. Tipping Fee
xx xx x xx x. The City Government shall charge tipping fees for
deliveries of solid wastes at the dumpsite of Brgy. Calajunan (Or
private haulers and other municipal haulers at the rate of
THREE PESOS (P 3,00) per kilo."
Let a copy of this Ordinance be furnished to the Iloilo Solid Waste Management Board
and to the office of the City Mayor. This Ordinance shall take effect 15 days after its
publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the City oflloilo.
ENACTED. June 23, 2015.
