THE HOUND OF HEAVEN

People are unique, even on what they believe to be is the truth. Some
believe on God, some do not, and some are undecided. Simone Weils was a
secular saint. Which I believe to be a person who was enlightened of the
divine presence of God after being a secular radical person who only believes
on what the current world can give. Her journey was a harsh, challenging,
and beautiful journey. If I were not born as a Muslim I would also be like that
because there are some things science cant explain which I believe to be
the creation of God. Everything was created by God. Two vital things were
present in her life, relevant events that made her seek for the truth. It was
her passion for the truth and her profound feeling for affection. God give us
different challenges and events that make us who we are. Weils was given a
hard afflicting life to be able to realize that there is a God. God already found
her before she found God. God was there from the very start. She fulfilled the
desire through the contacts that she experience with Catholicism. The first
was when she came on a holiday in Portugal after her period of factory work
when she was walking across a celebration of the feast of Our Lady of the
Seven Sorrows. Second was when she spent two days in Assisi, she was
alone in the twelfth-century chapel of Santa Maria degli Angeli, where St.
Francis often used to pray, she encountered something that brought her
nearer to faith. The third came during the ten days Weils spent over Easter at
the Benedictine abbey of Solesmes in northwestern France. Every event was
done on purpose by God to give her secular explanation, in other words, it
was shown to her in way that she would understand. Imagine a preaching
man trying to convert her with only reasons that has no evidences. We find
God only because God found us. Others who believe in God after being an
atheist were terrified, terrified that they would be contradicting what they
believed from the start. God is forgiving, he knows what we are capable in
and not. It is not too late to start.

As a muslim, I respect what others think. I dont want to be arrogant as

such thing is forbidden and sinful for us. I understand what the chapter was
trying to point out. For some it just fictional or created out just to satisfy the
need for information though it was really a good because showed the path of
a woman who became faithful after being a rational secular human. I find
myself in complete control though with the guide of God.
TRUTH OR NOTHING
Life is full of consequences. We will have to make decisions, decisions
that we cannot evade. Decisions that is a must to have. We can evade
consequences although not forever. Just like in boxing ring, a boxer is getting
cornered though he keeps evading but he cant evade forever because he
will get tired. Even philosophers have experienced the presence of God
though they just ignore it or do not want to believe it even exist. Some
philosophers fell and felt awkward moments in these kind of experiences.
These thoughts exist in the first place because we were given the freedom,
the freedom to believe the truth or not. The truth is an inevitable part of our
life. It either leads us to the feeling of freedom or not. Whenever ones sees
the truth, the man would always lose in a way that the truth would take away
the freedom given and to live by the truth. Before coming to the truth, there
would always be resistance from the truth. Worst case is that you wouldnt
see the truth anymore because your time is up. It is what scares people the
most. Even then, it is not too late to search for the truth because we are
allotted time and we just choose when and where we want to see the truth. It
may devastate ones perspective but it is rather fulfilling that it can open a
path to self-divination. Some see the truth as wicked because of what it does
to people. So they see the world as it is and believe that what you do here
wont matter after because there is no after. So they dont care about others
and do what they want even if others have disapproved it. Going back, the
truth already found us before we even started to search for it. When we see
it we become a captive of truth. We realize how the truth has always been

there just waiting for us to realize it. The truth will have to make you captive
for you to be able to realize it.
I believe that there is a truth because we exist. If we havent existed
there would have been nothing. Ive just see the truth just recently. But I
havent see the truth as whole because it consist of countless information
that makes crave for it the more you search for it. I know that I still lack for it
to be even called that I saw the truth. Right now I lack the desire to search
for it but I try to conform my desire to be able to start search more for the
truth to give my life a meaning because all we do now has relevance on the
life after death.

ENTREPRENEURS OF LIFE
This chapter started with a message that involves the things we need
to be able to live life meaningfully. One man is able to make so much money
that he hires people to do what he does not like but he is not able to hire
anyone to let him find his own sense of purpose and fulfillment and hed give
anything to anyone who would be able to find him his sense of purpose and
fulfillment. We all know that we usually find our sense of purpose and
fulfillment when we are near our end. We see everything as beautiful and live
our life happy so we could rest without any doubts when we die. It could be
related to faith, faith is a guide for us. Ive seen people in the hospital
praying hoping that God would forgive for the things they did. It is not too
late to ask for forgiveness as God is merciful. We shouldnt abuse Gods
mercy as God would also be bad to people who are bad especially if they
treat others bad. Going back, nothing could be much more better than
finding your sense of purpose and fulfillment through faith.
Sometimes I wonder what really is our purpose in this world, how
much more other people who are very curious than me. There is really
something that disturbs us. The way to our home isnt yet quite clear. It may

be just the beginning of something new or the end of the beginning. In my

opinion, God created us to be judged to determine our faith afterlife. Thats
what I believe to be what will happen though I wont force others to believe
what I believe. What I know is that we shouldnt waste the time given to us
by God, because we only live once and that we usually regret things after it
is already too late. Faith stands as a guide for us to the long journey. It guides
our way life depending on what we also think is right though we know God
made everything easy for us. Everything that is happening to us has
meaning that will shape ourselves to be able to determine our destiny. I dont
believe on fate, it simply takes away hope. God never wanted us to go astray
thats why he sent assigned and sent people to guide us the way. The way
you were created was because God had a purpose for it. God gave us the
freedom to choose to what to believe in. It is up to us to answer his call. He
already showed the signs and the guides making the way as easy as possible
for us to walk on. We just need to be ready. As I finished reading the book, it
made me realize that the world is full of mysteries that are waiting to be
discovered.
