One of the best books of Shakespeare , it has inspired almost all romantic
movies in the world, by 1597 the book was impressed but no one of us really
know the exact date, Verona the city of the history one of the most incredible
cities in Italy, Romeo and Juliet this history of the fight of two families and the
love of two persons how our lives need love , how can love unite 2 people no
matter what they believe.
William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616), English poet , considered one of the best
writers of world literature .
He was born on April 23, 1564 , Shakespeare had to get to work as an
butcher , by the difficult economic situation of his family, In Romeo and Juliet the
author lets us know how much lived at the time and the vocabulary that the
used in that time, but as a funy fact Shakespeare never visit Verona to write his
book.
The romantic element in the book is that the heart takes precedence over
reason. Romeo and Juliet die by the love that they had between them.
This work is considered a legacy of the world, when we first heard the name
Romeo it already is a sign of romanticism, a sight that love con destroy al
barriers and that it also can kill you.
Juliet, the first thing that we think is the beautiful leady in the balcony waiting for
his Romeo to kiss her and save her of that martyr she was living that she
couldnt do any more, and how hate cannot permit two people to love and to live
together, two families in war and two young persons in love.

In Verona one of the attractions not to call it the main attraction is the house of
Juliet that everyday Persons in love write letters to Juliet and place them on the
walls of the house, in that place you can look the balcony and the statue of
Juliet on one of the sides, the government of Italy says that he have to clean the
wall out of letters because their are to much.

There are different histories around Romeo and Juliet but the way they had
influenced the world is incredible, in their name have been write songs, plays,
movies.

Hector Berlioz composed his dramatic symphony Romeo and Juliet , Charles
Gounoud also composed an opera with the same title and Sergei Prokofiev
wrote the ballet in the history of these two lovers . To say that the tragic story of
Romeo and Juliet has been the subject of operas composed by over 14
different authors ( Benda , Bellini, Tchaikovsky , Rota ... )

In the musical film we highlight West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, won ten
Oscars in which the Montagues and Capulets they fight because their are from
different races,
film by Georges Mlis provided , whose recording has not been preserved and

latter possibly being currently best known for being starring Leonardo DiCaprio
