Air conditioning - check operation

Wiring, pipes hoses, oil and fuel pipes - check routeing, damage, chafing and leaks (where visible!)
Engine, vacuum pump, and cooling system-check damage and leaks (where visible!)
Coolant expansion tank, windscreen washer, power steering and brake fluid reservoirs-check /top up fluids as
necessary/report abnormal fluid loss
Coolant - check antifreeze concentration, record strength, advise if topup is required
Auxiliary drive belts - check condition/advise if adjustment or replacement is required
Battery - check general condition and clean terminals
Automatic transmission - check/top up fluid
Steering, supension linkages, ball joints, driveshafts, gaiters - check damage, wear, security
Front and rear wheel bearings - check wear
Engine and transmission - check visible damage and leaks
Exhaust - check condition, damage and leaks
Underbody - check condition and damage
Braking system - visually check condition of brake pads, discs, calipers. Record brake pad and disc thickness on VHC
Brake fluid - check hygrocsopic level and record
Tyres induding spare wheel - adjust pressure, check wear and condition record on VHC
Wheel nuts - tighten to correct torque
Oil and Oil filter - drain and replace oil, replace oil filter and sump washer
Road test
Stamp service book and reset service interval
Spark plugs - remove and replace
Air filter - remove and replace
Fuel filter - remove and replace
Braking system - remove road wheels and drums, inspect brake linings and wheel cylinders
Doors, tailgate hinges and locks - check operation and lubricate
Emissions treatment
Air conditioning - re gas service
Air conditioning/Heater system - anti-bacterial treatment [annually]
MOT - book in if due shortly
Pollen filter - advise if due
Brake fluid change - advise if required
Cam belt - advise if due
Valve clearances - advise if due
Key battery - advise if due
