The 5-day period of trilling races of Olympians and crews, Henley Regatta
is back for visitors to take in the ambience, enjoying the facilities within
the enclosures. Here is Victoria at the scene for more details.
VictoriaThe ultimate rowing event is the best known regatta in the world, and is
highlighted for its summer sporting and the social season. It attracts over
a thousand visitors each day, taking place over the end of June, through to
the beginning of July. In between races, you can shop around, explore the
food and drinks options in the town, or bring your own picnic to enjoy,
there will be fireworks display at Remenham Farm on Saturday at
10.30pm, and on Sunday the barn bar will be hosting a family day, with
lots of free activities for children. He regatta has been held annually since
1839., staged by the mayor and people of Henley as a small part of a
larger fair. In 2013, the Queen in England showed her appearance at the
event, this gave the Regatta a lot of publicity. Back to you Oskar.
