SLAUGHTERLOO SCENARIO ONE

Background
With two armies trying to manoeuvre for the final battle, a division from each side has been caught out
of position. Early one morning they find themselves trying to cross the same river in opposite
directions in an attempt to rejoin their own army.
Each player selects 2000 points from their force list, consisting of one legally constructed Division with
a single general.
The Game lasts 1 hour 45 minutes. When time is called by the tournament organiser, the players have
15 minutes to finish the round they are on, at which point the round is complete and scores are tallied.
Set-Up
The 6 x 6 board is set up according to the map below. As well as the mandated river and two
fords the tournament organiser will add 3 or 4 extra pieces of terrain.
Each player rolls 2d6 and adds their generals rating. The higher player has their choice of
deployment area, their opponent then deploys first.

No unit may cross the river except at the fords, unless it can fly.
Each exit area is 4 deep, it is there primarily to allow for a rearguard to stand and protect
retreating units. Any figure within the exit area counts as having left the board when time expires.

Scoring
A player scores 1 victory point for each of his units that leaves the board via his exit area with at least
50% strength.
A player scores 1 victory point for each enemy unit destroyed completely or which routs from the table.
The player with the higher score is deemed the victor.
Epilogue
Each unit that leaves the board via its exit area is available for initial deployment in scenario three.
Those figures left on the board when time expires go into the reserve for scenario three.
Figures killed during this battle are removed from the players force list.

SLAUGHTERLOO SCENARIO TWO

Background
The opposing armies are trying to bring up reserves for the final battle; to do this requires control of a
vital pair of road junctions. Each commander has sent a division to seize this vital asset.
Each player selects 2000 points from their force list, consisting of one legally constructed Division with
a single general (no troops from scenario one may be included in this force).
The Game lasts 1 hour 45 minutes. When time is called by the tournament organiser, the players have
15 minutes to finish the round they are on, at which point the round is complete and scores are tallied.
Set-Up
The 8 x 6 board is set up according to the map below. As well as the road layout the tournament
organiser will add 6 to 8 extra pieces of terrain.
Each player rolls 2d6 and adds their generals rating. The higher player has their choice of
deployment area, their opponent then deploys first.

Scoring
A player scores 1 victory point for each turn in which one of his units is within 12 of a junction (either A
or B) and no enemy unit is within 30 of the same junction.
A player scores 1 victory point for each enemy unit destroyed completely or which routs from the table.
The player with the higher score is deemed the victor.
Epilogue
For each victory point a player obtains he may move one unit from either this scenario or that
remained on the board in scenario one (the reserve) to initial deployment status in scenario three. Any
units no so promoted remain in the reserve for scenario three.
Figures killed during this battle are removed from the players force list.
