Graphing

Project
Due Date: October 7
Estimated time to complete: 3 hours
Materials needed: piece of poster board, pencil,
colored pencils or crayons, ruler (if making lines)
Requirements: Students are to survey at least 30
people. They are to make up their own questions
relating to a topic, and have at least four options to
choose from as an answer (Ex. Topic: Colors
Question: What is your favorite color? Options:
Purple, Blue, Green, Red). They must choose either
a frequency table or a tally table to keep their data
tacked on and this must be submitted with their
project. When they have finished surveying 30
people, they must then pick two different graphs
we have learned about and graph their results. On
that piece of poster board, they can put one graph
on the front and one on the back side.

used as a guide****
