2. Background and Justification


This section should provide a brief introduction to the current social and economic situation
related to the project. The background should also describe:
a. The problem or critical issue which the proposal seeks to resolve (1 paragraph)
b. How the proposal relates to other relevant student issues (1 paragraph)
c. Whether there are other programmes and activities which will complement the project (1
paragraph)
d. How the need for the project was determined (3-4 lines)
e. How and who project will benefit (1-3 lines)
3. Expected project results
This section should describe the overall results that the project is expected to accomplish and
whether there may be unintended effects of the project, and how these possible challenges will
be addressed. If you need to include a drawing or your project please include in this section (1-2
paragraphs)
4. Project activities and work plan
This section should describe how the project objective will be carried out in terms of planned
activities, their timing and duration, and who will be responsible for each activity. This can be
summarized in a simple table.

5. Budget
The budget should be prepared in BZ dollars. A description of the budget line items. Include all
resources you will need to carry out the project, nothing should be ignored. (Simple table will
work for this)
