0 COMPANY BACKGROUND
The company (Bina Darulaman Berhad) was incorporated in Malaysia on 21 December
1992 as a private limited company with the objective of caring on the business of golf club the
operations of a golf resort and other recreational facilities.
The company was converted to a public company on 2 March 1993. Development work
on the golf and country resort is approximately 50% completed. Approval from the Majlis
Daerah Kubang Pasu the approving authority has been obtained. Bina Darulaman Berhad was
established a park that called Darulaman Golf & Country Club which is built on 2010.
The Company is committed to successfully undertake every customers need by
consistently working towards increasing and enhancing quality and productivity levels in all
areas of the companys business activities.
Darulaman Golf & Country Club Tucked away amidst the rolling greenery of the
northern countryside, blessed with a magnificent panorama of nature, far away from the hustle
and bustle of city where peace and tranquillity are all-enveloping, a different and heavenly world
unfolds.
Darulaman Golf & Country Club is strategically located just five minutes from Bandar
Darul Aman interchange on the North-South highway, ten minutes from the Alor Star airport,
fifteen minutes from Alor Star town and half an hour from the border town of Bukit Kayu Hitam.
It offers an opportunity to unwind and relax, and enjoy a vacation in nature. Best of all, the most
relaxing and refreshing round of golf can be played right here, in nature's playground.
Darulaman Golf & Country Club boasts of a magnificently crafted 18-hole golf course
crowned by a serene piece of wetland, all set in an idyllic countryside setting. The Club caters
not only to golfers, sports enthusiasts, family and holiday week-enders, but also offers a
refreshing venue for business meetings and conferences. It's a little paradise just waiting to be
discovered.
In the Darulaman Golf & Country Club, the company is dividing into four departments
that are the most important department to the company in order to run the business. The
departments are Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Kitchen. Others departments

are Landscape and Recreation, Maintenance, Security and Sales and Marketing. The hotel has 58
staffs in the entire department and includes the administrative and account department. For the
administrative and account department, the office is locate in the main building of the Darulaman
Golf & Country Club (DGCC). Each departments are manage by a Head Department and assist
by a supervisor.

Each of the company must have their own vision and mission on their management. For
Bina Darulaman Berhad itself also have their own mission in order to achieve their goal. The
core values and vision that Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB) is to be a proud partner of the
government in its efforts towards realizing developed status by effectively contributing through
township development, infrastructure, construction and tourism.
