Student exchange is a program conducted by the world to the students. No need to be

smartest to join the program. Provided there is a will and courage, we can follow it.
Exchange students are often a reflection of good for students or school. A student
exchange program aims to increase knowledge about the outside world and the culture of
other countries. Exchange students can also improve foreign language skills.
A student exchange program is a program that can help students in improving foreign
language skills. Student exchange is a very important program for the student, as an exchange
student experience, for students who do.
Some of the students there is little fear of joining the program, because students are
afraid will be ridiculed or even mocked by new friends who will they encounter there. Do not
be afraid to do a student exchange program, because after seeing on the experiences of
students who attend the program they feel lucky to be able to join the program. Those who

A student exchange program is divided into several types such as,

1. Encompass Trust in the UK, this program has been implemented since 2003 has
brought together young people from diverse cultures, society, and religion to fight
the bad stereotypes. The countries involved in this activity are the UK, USA,
Indonesia, Palestine and Israel. Within this program, every year for 10 days, the
participants involved will hold important events such as discussions, cultural
presentations, outbound activities in the open air, etc.
2. International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFIT) in Norway, this festival is a
festival of international students in the world. The program involves 400 volunteer
students from around the world. Vision of ISFIT is to create a better future for
young men and women around the world.
3. Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP) in the ASEAN countries,
the purpose of this program is to strengthen friendship and tolerance among the
youth of ten Southeast Asian countries and Japan. To broaden their perspective on
the world and furthermore, to strengthen their spirit of international cooperation
and practical skills for international cooperation. This objective can be achieved
through a variety of stories about their lives in a boat, introduce their respective
countries etc.
The names of the student exchange program are just a few of the various programs
available. There are many more types, or the distribution of student exchange programs.
Being a student is involved in this like has so many effects, both on the advantages
and disadvantages. In addition, the students will be sent to the destination country is a

Indonesia, Pancasila.
A golden opportunity to study abroad can not be acquired by all students. To get it, the
students have to fight, that's the reason why only the selected students can get a scholarship
from abroad.
Being a student exchange participants is awesome and pride for themselves and their
families and relatives. The students selected must be very happy with a scholarship obtained
from their own previous efforts. All things can be a rewarding experience, the students will
have a great experience and useful for the life of each. The students can get used to be
independent when they have to live alone in a foreign land.
Everyone will respond positively learners. The student exchange participants will gain
knowledge much more and much more recently than they learn in our own countries. They
will have more knowledge that can not be obtained in our own country as such we know that

the western countries have a quality education that is much higher. In addition, these
countries have better technology and sophisticated to make learning lab.
In addition, students from Indonesia can be a good representation of youth in
introducing culture or all of Indonesia to commercially valuable for Indonesia. So indirectly,
they can be a subject that is useful in order to promote Indonesia in the global world.
Our country will benefit if foreigners who are interested to visit Indonesia because it
can increase the national income which comes from tourism market. There will also be new
jobs for citizens of Indonesia to get money from foreign visitors. It can also enhance the good
name of Indonesia in the eyes of the World.
But on the other hand, participated in a student exchange also has its own drawbacks
such as for example the declining moral values to values. The students would have had
periods of pretty bad there. Lifestyle several foreign countries is significantly different from
our country. Some students often influenced by the lifestyle of foreigners like hedonism,
glamor, consumerism, all things instant. And sometimes Atheism influence the younger
generation, for example Islamic religious students who can not worship due to the limitations
of the mosque.
If it is constantly in progress, they will be accustomed to abandon the obligation of
worship so that they become distant from the values of religion which can be useful for them
in control of their lives on foreign soil. In addition, they Nationalism can be reduced, because
a lot of students who have been successful there are not interested in returning to their own
hometowns. Though it is clear it can hurt their own people because of the absence of enough
qualified young people in this country that should be useful in making improvements,
developments and good prospects for Indonesia.
Therefore, despite being a student exchange participants the students should have a
strong personality to not be affected by any bad things that deviate from moral values and
religion. And it is appropriate that the participants remain focused on the goals and held
student exchange program.
