case study for answering the dynamic changes that havehappenedin the organisation.
Based on the case study selected, identify the organisational change dynamics that have occurred
in the organisation. These change dynamics could be external and/or internal pressures related to
the organisation chosen.
Students are required to evaluate the effectiveness of the changes implemented by the
organisation to improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency. Also consider how well
these changes subscribe to the taught models and theories and to provide a critical review of
these changes and their effectiveness to sustain the competitive advantage of the organisation.

Being able to diagnose change situation in any organisation is important. Consider an open
systems concept in understanding organisational change. Critically examine and assessbusiness
environmental signals that could trigger change in the organisation you have chosen. You may
decide the pertinent and appropriate management approach that you can use for change
management and implementation for the organisation you have chosen.

Level 3 modules require that work carried out will incorporate most of the following features:
Fail (Below 50 marks):
The essay will lack the structure, content and use of appropriate terminology that would be
expected from a student able to conduct a disciplined analysis of Managing Change issues; or
make appropriate conclusions following a critical evaluation of a range of theoretical strategic
options.
The essay will not demonstrate ability for independent thought and is therefore unlikely to
contain a recognisable critique of academic literature although it may list some
theories/concepts that might, or might not, apply.
