Printer Setup Dialog Box

Through its USB ports, a Thin Appliance can support multiple printers. If more than one printer is
to be used and another port is not available on your Thin Appliance and the port that is to be used
must be shared with a USB modem converter, connect a USB hub to the port.
For printer setup, use the following guidelines:
For Model 1200LE:

"LPT1" or "LPT2" selects connection to a USB printer or parallel printer via USB-toParallel cable ("dongle").
"COM1" or "COM2" selects connection to a serial device via USB-to-Serial cable
("dongle").

For Model 1125SE:

"LPT1" selects the on-borad parallel port.

"LPT2" selects the first USB attached printer.
"COM1" or "COM2" selects a serial printer attached to the on-board serial port 1 or 2.
"Network (LPD)" selects connection to a network (LPD) printer. The locally defined printer
is overridden by the system profile (wnos.ini) or user profile (username.ini) if the profile
includes a "NetworkPrinter" statement (see the description in the profile section for the
statement syntax).

NOTE Printers typically are also available via the application sessions. This may include
network printers and printers locally connected to the application servers. When connecting to a
Citrix server, the locally connected printer shows as the default printer.
