RESEARCH PROPOSAL?
To convince people that your research
is important, has not been done before,
is worthwhile and is feasible.
A research proposal of FYP is used for:
making presentations and
receiving feedback from panel of examiners
THE TITLE
IMPORTANT OF THE TITLE
Title will be read by thousand of people.
Perhaps few people, if any will read the entire
paper, but many will read the title (proposal,
FYP thesis, or technical paper or in journal)
WHAT IS GOOD TITLE?
The fewest possible words that adequately
describe the contents of the report.
Ironically, long titles are often less meaningful
than short ones.

INTRODUCTION
Introduction - to define any specialized
terms or abbreviations that you intend
to use.
Brief description of the whole topic.
In the Introduction you should have a
hook to gain the readers attention.
LITERATURE REVIEW
The literature review and choice of method
should be presented in such way that the
reader will understand what are the
problem was and how you attempted
to resolve it.
The statement of principal results and
conclusions, should be the capstone of the
Introduction.

AN ADVICE
- BEGIN WRITING the FYP report while
the work is still in progress. This
makes the writing easier because
everything is fresh in your mind.
- Furthermore, the writing process itself is
likely to point to inconsistencies in the
results or perhaps to suggest interesting
sidelines that might be followed.
