All equipment turned on
- Mixer, EQ/Outboard processing
- Amps ON LAST, FIRST OFF
- Un-Mute Individual Channels
Check Batteries in wireless systems REPLACE AS NEEDED
Line/Mic Check
- Including mics for any guest speakers/singers
- Preliminary Mix during rehearsal/sound check
- Monitor Mix Adjustments
- [AS NEEDED] Check levels via headphones AND on stage
- Main House Mixed
- Adjust amps/monitors as needed to complete balanced house mix
Video/Multi-Media
Computer booted up
Media shout opened.
- Verify Songs loaded (Per Order of Service Itinerary)
- Verify PowerPoint loaded
- Verify no special Multi-media needs
Audacity Opened
- Check recording level (as needed and/or if possible)
- Begin recording at SERMON
Pre-Service background music started at completion of Band Sound check
- Appropriate (positive/up-beat) Pandora Station, or similar playlist/CD
Projector turned on
Countdown timer - 5 Min prior to service

No Sound
- Mixer On
- Master Fader and/or Channel Faders Up

- All connections are plugged in correctly
- All outboard processing is on
House Sound is thin/no low end
- Subwoofer Amp is ON
- Outboard EQs are set correctly
Feedback
- Auxes (monitor) levels too hot (turn them down)
- Channel level too hot (turn down)
- EQ Adjustment
- Squeels Adjust high EQ
- Rumble/Low Freq Adjust low EQ
- Ringing/honky feedback Adjust Mid-range EQ
Individual Channel Too Loud/Not Loud enough/No Sound
- Adjust Fader Level
- Adjust gain pot
- Verify sub-group is assigned and levels are correct (as applicable)
Misc.
- Ensure effects are assigned and levels assigned appropriately
