Abstract
India is a developing country so here the construction of highway and building plays an important role. Now days most of the work
related with building or highway is done by cement concrete design mix. In this thesis I have design paver block by using Cement
Concrete mixture of Mix Design M30, M35, M40, M50 which is composed of 10mm Coarse Aggregate, OPC 43 Grade Cement
and Fine Aggregate. Dimension of paver block is 200 x 160 x 80 mm. In this process I have partial replaced Cement with Fly Ash
in percentage of 0%, 20%, 30%, and 40% respectively by weight of cement. Super plasticizer is used as an admixture which is
added 2% by weight of cement constantly in the production of concrete mixture. The function of this admixture is to reduce the
water cement ratio and enhance workability. The Paver Block curing process is done for 7 days and 28 days. After curing it is
checked for its compressive strength.

INTRODUCTION
Concrete paver pieces were initially presented in Holland in the fifties as substitution of paver blocks which had turned out to be
rare because of the post-war building development blast. These pieces were rectangular fit as a fiddle and had more on the other
hand less the same size as the blocks. Amid the previous five decades, the square shape has consistently developed from non
interlocking to halfway interlocking to completely interlocking shapes. Thusly, the asphalts in which non interlocking squares are
utilized are assigned as 'Concrete Block Pavement (CBP)' or non-interlocking CBP, and those in which halfway, or completely
interlocking squares are utilized are assigned as 'Interlocking Concrete Block Pavement (ICBP).
II. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
The present study goes for assessing the execution of high volume fly powder concrete for paver blocks use in road making and
other application zones.
III. MATERIALS USED AND THEIR PROPERTIES
The materials used in the study are:
Crushed coarse aggregate and fine aggregate
Cement: OPC-43 grade
Fly ash obtained from Sardar Nagar Alcohol Refinery
Potable water.
Evaluation of 20mm and 10mm size aggregates. The fine totals comply with evaluating zone II having fineness modulus as
3.034.
IV. MIX DESIGNS
Design Criteria
Characteristic compressive strength required in the field at 28 days is 30, 35, 40 and 50 N/mm2 for four mix Designs of
M-30, M-35, M-40 and M-50 respectively.
Nominal maximum size of aggregates is 12.5mm (Crushed)
Coarse aggregates grading as per IS: 383
Degree of workability = Zero slump, suitable for paver Blocks
Thickness of paver blocks = 80mm
Degree of quality control: Good

V. CONCLUSIONS
The main conclusions which are concluded from above results are:
28-day solid shape compressive quality for all the blends, but M-50, with all extents of fly slag is observed to be more than
the objective mean strength of the blends
With the contribution of fly fiery, the water to cementitious material proportion diminishes for all blends for same level of
workability.
The given blend outlines and their outcomes demonstrate that the fly fiery remains in high extent can be effortlessly utilized as
a part of a financially saving material furthermore, biological way in the assembling of paver hinders for use in road making and
other comparable zones of utilization.
