EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report motioned on different aspect of beverages .beverage industry in whole world is very
establish and also in Pakistan .There are different beverage like coca cola, gournment, Amrat
coca .Pepsi cola is world famous company and also has market leader in the market Pepsi has
monopoly in different cities .As for as the Shamim & Co. beverage in Multan is concerned, it
creates its monopoly in its target market,Shmaim and co has fulfill their customer requirement
Shamim and co has own offices and they work on different departments which is include human
resource department management information technology, marketing department each
department has own task and have conventional of employees in every department Pepsi cola
focus on marketing they make own different strategies to fulfill the requirement of customer as
well as company employees .
First fortnightly report consist on the basic introduction of the company and Mr. Fahad tell us the
about the company polices Mr. Fahad tell us the co current project as well as future projects. I
learnt about recruitment of order bookers, sales officers, and executives came across the cvs of
new applicant
In general, I had the chance to apply my learning into work, and in turn learn by working.
Friendship was established between me and my colleagues in my department and the department
next door. It was really a marvelous experience working as a summer intern in shamim and co.
Pepsi.
In 2nd fortnighty report I gained very much kwoledge about administration work and as well as
about the manufacturing Shamim and co Multan provides a great opportunity to learn about the
corporate culture and provides an intern the great knowledge about the company and the work as
well. For me, it was more like on job training which will help me in professional life as well in
my rest of the student life.
3rd fortnightly report Shamim is working& co on different projects in there company so, there are
different projects where I was work like HR area and Different projects. It was entirely two
different experience for me as an intern because there was kind of work place and working
atmosphere due to nature working tools, techniques and method. I was also work with human
resource department, sale department, information technology department, finance department
and security department in Shamim and co Multan

First of all in very humble I thanks to dear my who give me this opportunity and billion off
blessing on what I am .There is no things on my hand if my Allah Almighty not blessing on me
especially in my whole life and in my all study carriers and I really acknowledge of all my time
supporting and apprising me and giving confidence in every part of life. Second I really thinks to
all my teachers specially Dr. Imran Haneef who improve my learning skills knowledge and

Introduction of Shamim &co. (pvt) Ltd Multan
Shamim&company (put) Ltd.is a franchise of Pepsi Cola International The company is
establish is 1964.MR.Allah Nada Khan Tareen was the founder of the company and also
chairman. It ibis a great pleasure of Shamim & Company that is second beverage company of
Pakistan that time ,and this time one of famous Beverage Company of South Asia.
There are 9 franchises Pepsi cola international in Pakistan. Shamim&co.is one of them that is
situated at District jail road Multan. Other franchise of Pepsi cola situated in Lahore, Faisalabad,
Karachi, lslambad, Rawalpandi,Gujranwala,Sakhar,Peshawar,and Baluchistan, that describable
above. The comment was 1st production 1967 that time brands was 7-up 270ml that is why it is
also known as 7-up factory .Pepsi cola international franchise Shamim& Company covering 11
districts. Shamim co. was much commuted staff and this is the reason that it capture more
than80% share of market share. Company has now serviced new experienced & competent sales
staff &increase this share 90% share and above.
In 1928, Pepsi was reorganized as National Pepsi cola company by Roy C .Megargel who
bought the Pepsis trademark. But in 1931, US district court declared Pepsi bankrupt
which was the second bankrupts in Pepsi history.
Charles G. Goth of The Loft candy acquire Pepsi and changed the formula of its syrup in
1934. The chain
Fed formula was a hit. In 1941, the NY stock exchange traded the stocks of Pepsi for the
first time. Pepsi cola acquire mountain Dew from Tip corporation in 1964PepsiCo was

Continuous change or refine in our food and beverage products to satisfied our
customers.
Below the line company use advertisement tools like billboards, outdoorsbanners, ads in
different shops with Pepsi colure different colored the corners shoes for advertisement of the
Pepsi.
Above the line company use the electronic media ,print media, radio, adds with
different actress which is present the Pepsi and support the Pepsi through different
ways .above the line strategy use in upper Punjab

I also visit the operational Pepsi plant which situated near MDA district jail road Multan me and
my others internee also visited the Pepsi plant we see the different operations planhow they uses
the formula how they pack the boltless employee of the Pepsi were very corporative and helpful
for each others they support their other members they work in according to the instructions
which there supervise provided I also learnt how companyhandle their employee with different
incentive and bonuses Pepsi cola international and remaining activates are performed by itself. I
learn how the recruitment and selection process which things are important when any candidates
wants to get job in Pepsi cola I observe qualification and experience are more impatnatnt in Pepsi
co also mange employee data sheet where employee personal data and area where employee are
working in it all information in it. Practical and study life have more different and difficult and
so many other things are I learn and gain experience for 6weeks internship.
CHAPTER NO. 3
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
Finance department
This is one most important departments of this organization. This department made the financial
plans of the organization, they analyze their resources and then concise other reports and gives
the whole budget the organization can afford. Mr.Tahir Amin is general manager and looking
after these departments. The departments which come under Finance department are
Managements Accounts Department.
Coordination accounts departments.
Banking and insurance department.
Supply chain management department
The main work of this department is to maintain the record of freezers and visi coolers. This
department was come in to being 2009.Before; this was work under SIS department. To supply
the deep freezer visa coolers to the shops, canteen and all the point of Pepsi in their core function

In tracking process the sales officer notes down the regular sales of shop. He also checks the
functioning of freezers and write down about their performance. If any freezer is out of order, he
recommends it to be repaired.

is the first step of TOT department. The demand of freezers generated by sales
officers is notified by this department. After a certain amount of demand, the TOT
department gets the full documentation of all the requiring shops and verifies it. After
verification of documents the head of TOT department, Sir Omer gets the signature of
GM and issues the freezer.
PHYSIICAL VERIIFIICATIION
After the issuance of freezers, the MEM goes himself to the market and verifies from the shops
either they have got the freezers on right time or not. If there is any complain then the MEM calls
back his subordinates and try to eliminate the proble

given by the law. Changes in law & regulations, including changes in accounting standards,
taxation requirements, change or revision in tax rates and environmental laws in domestic and
foreign jurisdiction have tremendous impact on the companys policies and practices.

Economic factors have a great impact on the purchasing power of the customers as well as the
firms cost of capital. After the attack of 9/11, the economy fell down. But now they have
recovered their economic level which has impacted rest of the globe. Consumers are now
resuming their normal habits for spending the money.

It involves changes in general attitudes and lifestyle of the inhabitants of a country. In Pakistan,
people have changed their living standards a lot in a last few decades. A large number of
Pakistans population is consisted of the youth, and youth are the major consumers of Pepsi.

Suggestion
The entrance of every department must have proper reception to deal the visitors.
The problem of printers in MIS department must be solved.
Internet facility must be provided to every employee in Finance and MIS department.
Lunch should be free for employees.
Proper arrangements about the cleanliness of food should be done at the canteen.
Supply chain department should be white washed properly.
Steps should be taken to ensure cleanliness in each department. Each department should be
well decorated.
The role of HR Department should be enhanced and its function should be increased to all major
departments.
Transport facility should be provided to employees. It will act as a motivation tool aand will
ensure in time presence of employees in respected departments.
Proper culture about internship should be developed and proper arrangements about
internees should be developed so that internees can get proper knowledge about almost
every department in the company.
Given incentive to the key accounts executive on the basis of conversion of coke point in
to Pepsi point

We are visited Pepsi Company. We learn more &more about every department. Assistant
Manager of information about every department. Specially, we learn about the Hr policies, sales
marketing. And we learn About HR Functions and also we learn the implementation of polices
from our visit, we learn that practical work is much different from studies. We experience from
our visit and this is possible because of our department requirement.
