JOB ENABLING ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

Job Enabling English Proficiency (JEEP) is an intensive two-year English
language training program of USAIDs Growth with Equity in Mindanao
(GEM), in partnership with Surigao State College of Technology, Surigao
City, Philippines. This English language program features learning
designed specifically for interactive study via computers. Through
collaboration and shared educational missions, GEM and SSCT are
creating new ways of learning the English language. JEEPs ultimate
goal is to deliver innovative approaches in learning English to students
and language enthusiasts of all ages and cultural backgrounds. This
program is envisioned to improve the English proficiency among
students enrolled in selected universities in Mindanao.

SSCT is an excellence-driven institution of higher learning committed to

produce holistic and globally-competitive individuals. Its mission is to
provide relevant, high quality and sustainable instruction, research,
production, and extension programs and services within a culture of credible
and responsive institutional governance. Established in 1969, SSCT is
devoted to quality instruction, research, extension and production, and to
nurturing students across disciplines who make a difference locally and
globally. The state college, which is based in Surigao City and has three
satellite campuses in Malimono, Del Carmen and Mainit, offers
undergraduate, graduate and short-term technical and vocational courses .

Problem
1. How does the Jeep Class Program help the individual
students to understand to speak English and other foreign
languages?
2. What are the inputs of learning that the students learn from
this program in the past semester or in the present time?

Hypothesis
Job Enabling English Proficiency is quite difficult to understand its
component and program that the students called it a program
through which students hear and speak is this true that this
program can help us individual students?
In case we will invite conversation and interview more about this
research as we have a course like this.
A computer program that can help us in our future especially in
English language. What proof can we get from this or may be yes
theres something better teaching than the self-teaching and
general teaching
What is the difference of a computer from the teaching of a normal
person talking to you personally? Do we need this program so that
we can graduate and accomplish our degree maybe this program
is useless but the special program education allow this technology

to teach us maybe this program is important and useful to our

school specially in our individual class. We will go on to our
research and investigate this problem with the method that we
have prepared.
