Behavior Contract

As a student in Mrs. Palacios English classes, you must understand the

following:
When in class, I will be respectful to my peers and to Mrs. Palacios. I
will not make fun of or mock my peers. I will not make poor attitude
comments like this is stupid, or this is pointless. I will not use foul
language, for any reason, in class. I understand that being rude
and/or disrespectful to my peers or to Mrs. Palacios is
punishable by infractions and/or removal from class.
When in class, I will treat Mrs. Palacios room and her books with
respect. I will not throw, toss, slam, bend, fold pages, mark, or in any
way abuse her books. I will not mark or damage the desks or the walls.
I agree that if I borrow a book or a magazine that I will put if back
where I found it. I will not touch Mrs. Palacios white board unless given
permission. I understand that abusing the books, desks, walls,
or white board in the classroom is punishable by infractions
and/or removal from class.
When in class, I will work hard and participate appropriately. I will pay
attention and not interrupt Mrs. Palacios when she is talking or
lecturing. I will raise my hand if I have a question instead of shouting it
out (unless given permission to do so). I understand that failure to
work hard, pay attention, participate, and be respectful in
class will result in infractions and/or removal from class as well
as a lowering of my grade for class behavior points.
When in class, I will sit in my assigned seat and I will stay seated
unless given permission to move. I will not distract other students
while they are in their assigned seats, and I understand that if I do
so, I may be moved to a different seat, punished by infractions,
and/or removed from class.
