OFFERING OF EXTENDED SELF

The single biggest thing that people who took the Strategic Sorcery Course credited for positive life
changes was the practice of making regular offerings. These of course were largely offerings aimed at
beings that we consider external: Gods, Protector Spirits, Local Spirits and Elementals, and beings that
owe us debt. I am now going to teach you another type of offering - an offering to the self. The rite CAN
be done with just energy, but I grew this rite out of my Tarpanam practice
that I do for my ancestors, and so I continue to use white rice, black sesame seeds, a coin, and water.
Some use Durba Grass, Sandalwood, and other materials as well, but I keep it simple. Simply take the
offering items in your right hand, and pour water over them with your left hand. Pour more water for
each of the classes that we list below. I do this in the bathroom each morning over the sink. If you want
to do it at your altar you can, but it is not necessary.

At the end of the ritual you can take the coin and place it somewhere that it can be re-used, and clean
the rice and seed from your hands. If you are doing only energy work, then you can simply end with an
appropriate mudra.
CONDENSING THE RITE
If you wish to make the rite even shorter, you can do one offering for all the categories and simply list
them in the prayer all together:

REMEMBER ME AND BLESS ME IN THIS TIME AND PLACE.
If you don't want to even do that you can simply call to mind all these at once and make the offerings
with a simple statement like
I INVITE YOU TAKE THIS OFFERING OF ENERGY, SUSTINANCE, AND WEALTH BE ENERGIZED, SUSTAINED,
HEALED, AND AT PEACE REMEMBER ME AND BLESS ME IN THIS TIME AND PLACE.
I would recommend only using these shorter versions after you have mastered the longer version, which
is really not that long all things considered.
