the 2 letter code for the new language we want to install.

following table T002. SPRAS field is the 1 letter code and LAISO field is the 2 letter

Then import the language by selecting Import Package.

Note: In order to be able to import the language, we need to put the corresponding PAT file of the
language in the /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory.
The PAT files for NW740SR2 are located in this directory in our repository.
/Staging/sapsft/sap/MSD_Software/SAP_Install_Media/NW74SR2/Lang/DATA_UNITS

In the below screen, click on Find Packages and it will scan the /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in for the
corresponding Language file.

Select the package and click on Execute. Click Yes in the pop up to import the package.

Once the language import is complete, we need to do the Language Supplementation. Select the
language and click on Supplement language

Fill in the fields as below. And click on execute.

Select Yes

Click back arrow to come out of the window.

The logs can be seen when the Supplementation job is running as below.

Once the Supplementation is done, it will be green/yellow as below.

Note: For the new builds, we only have client 000, so we do the supplementation only in that
client. But if we have multiple clients, we need to do supplementation in all the clients.

Errors:
Some of the errors we might run into are as follows:
No entry found in the control table PAT03. This will cause the language import to fail.

We usually get this error when we have issues with STMS. Check STMS and resolve the errors.
And once they are resolved, please restart the import.
