The graphs compare the number of marriages and

divorces in the USA over the period from 1970 to 2000

represented in millions in addition to the percentage of
marital status of Americans adults in 1970 and 2000. It
can be clearly seen that the number of marriages even
higher than divorces statuses as well as the proportion of
married cases of adult Americans which recorded the
highest percentage of marital statuses in both years.
The figures of marriages and divorces in USA reached to
2.5 and 1 million in 1970 respectively. In 1980, the
marriages remained constant but the divorces peaked to
1.4 million. The marriages in USA gradually fell nearly to
2.3 and 1 million in 1990 and 2000 respectively. In the
similar tendency, the figures of divorces approximately
dropped to 1.1 million in 1990 and to 1 million in 2000.
Turning to the statistics of marital cases of American
adults in 1970 and 2000, the proportion of singles adults
in 2000 were more than in 1970 in the USA at a rate of

10%. The numbers of married and window in American

adults rose to 70% and 8% in 1970 respectively but
divorced statuses relatively plunged to 2%. Conversely in
2000, the percentage of married Americans dropped
under 60% and widowed Americans slightly declined
nearly at 5%.
To sum up, the figures of marriages had a marked decline
from 1970 to 2000, with rare exception for marriages in
1980 while the numbers of divorces relatively remained
uniform over the stated period.

The graph compares the change in average house prices

in five cities (New York, Madrid, Tokyo, Frankfurt and
London) over 13 year period from 19900 to 2002
compared with prices in 1989 presented in percentage. It
can be clearly seen that the majority of cities had a
marked plunge in average prices of houses between 1990
and 1995 however prices of houses significantly rose
between 1996 and 2002.
Over the six years after 1989, average prices of houses
declined in Tokyo and London at a rate nearly of 7% as
well as in New York by 5%. Conversely, costs of houses
surged in Madrid and Frankfurt by around 2% and 2.5% at
the same time respectively.
In the period from 1996 to 2002, the majority of cities saw
a high rise in prices of houses, with exception of prices in
Tokyo. In London, the average prices of home houses
recorded the highest growth by nearly 12% along with the
jumping in prices which approximately reached to 5% and
4% in New York and Madrid respectively. While costs of

home houses in Frankfurt relatively remained stable.

Prices of average home houses in Tokyo had a similar
tendency which fell by 5%.
In summary, the average prices of home houses in New
York and London had a varied trend but prices in Madrid,
Tokyo and Frankfurt had a stable trend over 13 year
period.

The pie charts compare the production of electricity by

using various fuel sources in both Australia and France in
two year 1980 and 2000 represented in units. It can be
clearly seen that Australia mostly depended on coal in the
electricity production while France deeply provided its
needs from electricity by using nuclear power.
In 1980, both Australia and France saw a variety in fuel
resources to produce electricity at similar level in total
production. Coal was a main fuel source with 50 units of
100 units as a total electricity production in Australia
followed by hydro power and natural gas at the same level
with 20 units and then oil with 10 units. At the same in
France, the most of electricity production belonged to coal
and natural gas by 50 units of the total 90 units. Whilst

the hydro power was the least fuel source which was used
in France.
Australia and France followed other trends in the
dependency on fuel sources which were used to produce
electricity in 2000. Coal became the most significant fuel
source by nearly 75% of Australia's electricity. While the
most electricity production in France relied on nuclear
power which formed 126 units of 180 units. The using of
natural gas had a dramatic decline in both countries. Oil
sources relatively had a stable production of electricity in
France in both years but its production significantly
plunged to 2 units in Australia.
In summary, Australia and France varied their fuel sources
to produce low levels of electricity in 1980 compared with
their production in 2000.
