GTMU
Plugging the board: the board will automatically load the configuration, check the
correlated alarm by doing right click on the site, then choose Query Alarm/Event and
Current Alarms

After doing it, you will have the snap below

Check the alarm, if board is OK, we will have no alarm concerning hardware board fault.

After being sure that there is no hardware problem, check the status of the board with command
DSP
BTSBRD:INFOTYPE=BASEINFO,IDTYPE=BYNAME,BTSNAME="DLAB01",BRDTYPE=
NORMAL,SN=6;
If Board is Normal you will have the result below

If not you will have

If GTMU Board is normal, we must test the CPRI Port one after the other.
First of all we need the SFP module, optical fiber and RRU, Make sure that SFP module and
optical fiber have no problem, connect the GTMU and RRU with optical fiber and check.
If you have the snap below, CPRI Port is OK, otherwise CPRI port is NOK

2. WMPT
Start by plugging the board in correct slot, check the NodeB, we ne to re-commissioned
the board.

Cancel the existing DHCP by doing the right click on the concerning nodeB and click
stop Detection

You will have this Window, click on yes

After that, you can start detection by the same procedure, but that time click on start
detection

Click On Yes

After doing DHCP, do autodeployment,

- Cancel the file first

Import again (Notice that, this file will be send to you)

Start autodeployment by doing the right click on the concerning NodeB and choose
start

Monitor the evolution.

Check the status, by running the command: DSP BRD:CN=0,SRN=0,SN=7; and check
the result

Check the last colum Availability Status which Indicates the physical operation status of
the board, which can be Uninstalled, Starting up, Normal, Inconsistent, Unconfigured,
Power off, Fault, Communication lost, In test, or the combination of various.
Now you have all to decide if your board is good or faulty.
3. WBBP
Plugging in the board in the right slot, and check

Check the alarm of site, to be sure that there no alarm related to WBBP board

After that, display the board to check the status

Check the last colum Availability Status which Indicates the physical operation status of the
board, which can be Uninstalled, Starting up, Normal, Inconsistent, Unconfigured, Power off,
Fault, Communication lost, In test, or the combination of various.
Now you have all to decide if your board is good or faulty.
If the board is Good, check the CPRI board exactly like we checked the CPRI port of GTMU.
4. RRU
To easily test RRU, we need GTMU or WBBP, SFP module and Optical Fiber in a good State,
Connect RRU to GTMU or WBBP board using optical fiber and check the correlated alarm.

Check also the the device Panel,

According to the legend we can identify the state of our RRU.

If RRU is OK, please test VSWR, by activating the cells for some minutes, and check if you
have alarm related to VSWR
5. UEIU and UPEU
Please plugging the board in the right slot, check if we have hadware alarm, for example for the
case below, UEIU is normal and UPEU is faulty, for the case that board is OK, please check the
external alarm of one by one port.

For UPEU run use the command below:
