National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) is looking for dynamic, energetic and experienced Bangladeshi
personnel for the following posts:
(1) Asst. Professor (Yarn Manufacturing Engineering) - {Scale: 35,500 - 1,780 x 10 - 53,300/-}

Number of Post: 01

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.25 (in a scale of 4.00) in both B. Sc and M.Sc. in Textile Engineering
(specialization in Yarn Manufacturing) degree or equivalent in relevant branch from a recognized University/ Institute with
04 years professional experience of which at least 02 years in teaching. Candidates with a PhD degree in relevant field will be
given preference. The candidate must have at least 03 publications in referred Journal/ book. Condition may be relaxed in case
of highly qualified/ experienced candidate.
(2) Asst. Professor (Industrial & Production Engineering) - {Scale: 35,500 - 1,780 x 10 - 53,300/-}

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.25 (in a scale of 4.00) in both B. Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial &
Production Engineering (IPE)/ Industrial Engineering (IE) from a recognized University/ Institute with 04 years professional
experience of which at least 02 years in teaching (Or)The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.25 (in a scale of 4.00) in B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and M. Sc.
in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Industrial Engineering (IE) from a recognized University/ Institute with 04 years
professional experience of which at least 02 years in teaching.
Candidates with a PhD degree in relevant field will be given preference. The candidate must have at least 03 publications in
referred Journal/ book. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/ experienced candidate.
(3) Lecturer (Yarn Manufacturing Engineering) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.25 (in a scale of 4.00) in B. Sc. in Textile Engineering (specialization
in Yarn Manufacturing) degree or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 1 year professional
experience. Candidate having M. Sc. in Yarn Manufacturing degree will be given preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of
highly qualified/ experienced candidate.
(4) Lecturer (Wet Processing) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.50 (in a scale of 4.00) in B. Sc. in Textile Engineering (specialization
in Wet Processing) degree or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 1 year professional experience.
Candidate having M. Sc. in Wet Processing degree will be given preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/
experienced candidate.
(5) Lecturer (Industrial & Production Engineering) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.50 (in a scale of 4.00) in B. Sc. in Industrial & Production
Engineering (IPE)/ Industrial Engineering (IE) degree or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 1 year
professional experience. Candidate having M. Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)/ Industrial Engineering (IE) degree
will be given preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/ experienced candidate.
(6) Lecturer (Mathematics) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

degree from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidate with teaching experience will be given preference. Condition may be

(7) Lecturer (Accounting) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.50 (in a scale of 4.00) in both BBA and MBA in Accounting or
equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidate having professional experience will be given preference.

(8) Lecturer (Sociology) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

The candidate must possess a 1st Class or minimum CGPA 3.50 (in a scale of 4.00) in both B.S.S and M.S.S in Sociology or
equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidate with teaching experience will be given preference. Condition may

(9) Lecturer (Mechanical Engineering) - {Scale: 22,000 - 1,100 x 10 - 33,000/-}

The candidate must possess CGPA 3.00 (in a scale of 4.00) in Diploma in Textile Engineering (Apparel Manufacturing) from a
recognized University/ Institute with at least 02 years professional experience. Candidate having B. Sc. in Textile Engineering
degree will be given preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/ experienced Candidate.
(11) Technical Officer (Industrial & Production Engineering)- {Scale: 16,000 - 800 x 10 24,000/-}

The candidate must possess CGPA 3.00 (in a scale of 4.00) in Diploma in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)/ Industrial
Engineering (IE) degree from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 02 years professional experience. Candidate having

(13) Technical Officer (Physics)- {Scale: 16,000 - 800 x 10 24,000/-}

The candidate must possess CGPA 3.00 (in a scale of 4.00) in B.Sc. in Physics or equivalent qualification from a recognized
University/ Institute with at least 02 years professional experience. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/

(14) Lab Attendant - {Scale: 8,250 - 420 x 10 12,450/-}

Number of Posts: 03

The candidate must possess CGPA 2.50 or equivalent qualification in Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) Examination. The
candidate with Science group in S.S.C will be given preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/
experienced Candidate.
(15) Office Attendant - {Scale: 8,250 - 420 x 10 12,450/-}

The candidate must possess CGPA 2.50 or equivalent qualification in Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) Examination. The
candidate having professional experience will be given preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/
experienced Candidate.
(16) Security Guard - {Scale: 8,250 - 420 x 10 12,450/-}

Number of Posts: 04

The candidate must possess CGPA 2.50 or equivalent qualification in Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) Examination. The
physical height of the candidate must be at least 5 feet 5 inch. The candidate having professional experience will be given
preference. Condition may be relaxed in case of highly qualified/ experienced Candidate.
