repairing of existing machinery and system in manufacturing facility. Learnt about electrical systems and
components that the company's permanent employees commonly handle.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
Project: Motor speed monitors and control system using GSM modem
Objective: To control the speed and direction of DC Motor using Microcontroller and GSM Modem
with password protection.
Description: Researched the project and designed on the basis of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation)
technique to control the speed of motor from 0% to 100%. The speed of the motor is measured using
contact-less speed measurement technique. Softwares used in the project are PIC-C compiler for
Embedded C programming, PIC kit 2 programmer for dumping code into Micro controller and Proteus
for hardware simulation. The motor can be operated from anywhere in the world. It is reliable for
industrial and domestic needs. Vigourous testing was done to check its fubctions .
