Profile
Involved in the care of animals since childhood, I am a reliable and consistent veterinary
technician with a broad spectrum of knowledge and versatile skill set. I have been involved
in most areas of a veterinary practice including Nursing Director, technician, assistant,
receptionist and kennel attendant. I took some time off of veterinary medicine to care for
my daughter. Currently I excited to return to veterinary medicine and I am seeking a
management position in your veterinary hospital.

Experience
RESIDENTIAL LIFE CURRICULUM & COACHING, XXZZCC SCHOOL; SMALL TOWN, CT 2015-PRESENT

I am a dorm parent to 30 girls between the ages of 11-14 who are from all over the world.
This requires me to provide academic and emotional support as well as create a unique
and pleasurable weekend curriculum throughout the school year. I also coach softball.

I played an integral role in the transformation from a night and weekend emergency clinic
to a twenty-four hour emergency and critical care hospital. My responsibilities included
but were not limited to: Hiring new personal, scheduling shifts, implementing new
protocols, writing protocols to help with productivity, medical procedures, standard of
care and staff moral, day-to-day managing a staff of 25, liaison to the board of trustees,
and worked closely with the practice manager to create a thriving and satisfied work
culture. I created and managed the website as well as generated an online presence
through various social media outlets. I continued to work as an active RVT and strived to
further my skill set while working towards my VTS in Emergency & Critical Care.
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, CARLOS PET HOSPITAL; SAN CITY, CA 2008-2010

Lead technician with a focus on emergency and surgical techniques. Logged over 1000
hours as anesthetist and surgical assistant. Performed dental prophylaxis and extractions.
Clinical pathology including ear and blood cytology, in-house labs, blood differentials,
urinalysis with microscopic exam, fecal analysis. Extensive client care and client
management.
KENNEL MANAGER & VETERINARY ASSISTANT, SALEM ANIMAL HOSPITAL; SALEM, NY 2006-2008

Managed active kennel with up to 40 animals including dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles,
birds, and domesticated farm animals. Assisted veterinary technicians and veterinarians in
