SYNOPSIS
This course introduces the topic of transport phenomena, which involves the
development of mathematical models and physical understanding of the transfer of
momentum, energy and mass.

3.0

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to:
1.
Describe the conservation principles and analogies of momentum, energy and
mass transport.
2.
Develop the momentum, energy and mass balance according to the chemical
and process system.
3.
Justify the concept of transport phenomena, conservation principles and flux
laws of momentum, energy and mass transport.
