Details of assignment :
You are to evaluate the performance of Public Bank Berhad for the financial year ended in
2014 with the following approaches:
(1) Dupont Model
(a)

Conduct a Dupont Model analysis: (5MARKS, 694 words)

(i)
with a trend comparison (2012, 2013 and 2014) (accounting stds);
(ii)
relative to its peer bank (Hong Leong Bank Berhad) for the financial year
ended in 2014;

for the assignment. Each member must attach their own signed cover sheet to
the assignment.

allocate the ungrouped students into a group in week 5 tutorial class, provided
the ungrouped students are present at the class. If you are not known by your
tutor to be associated with any group by week 5, you are deemed to have no
intention to complete the assignment task.
c) This assignment should be presented in an essay format and follow the
guidelines outlined in the Q manual, including an abstract of less than 250
words, a table of content and a reference list, if any, using the APA style.
d) The marking of this assignment will be mainly based on the quality of
presentation /analysis /discussion /argument and conclusion.

cover sheet, front page, abstract, contents page and reference list, if any.
f) Please be reminded of the Universitys policy on plagiarism, cheating and

g) Assignments should be submitted via the department assignment box marked
BFW2401 Assignment Box situated in Building 6B Level 5 by 4.00pm
Friday (25th September 2015) of Week 9.
h) Students must retain a copy of the final version of their assignment at least
until the unit results are finalised.
