Real estate and facility assets combined rank as one of the four
highest costs of business within most organizations; they are
the greatest long-term liability and typically comprise 35% of
most organizations balance sheets. Due to the magnitude of the
investments involved, even small variances in real estate costs
impact an organizations financial performance greatly. In addition,
environmental sustainability has captured the attention of senior

Energy Information Administration data concludes that buildings
