INTRODUCTION

In this work we will be the develop the Rate of Aqua Bus City Tour, where we will
initiate defining that is Aqua bus is a custom made Hydra Terra model the 1st
amphibious vehicle in Panama and America Central. Where we will be mentioning
all that is tours from: the tour highlights, schedules, rate, among other points that
are important to know before making the tour.
Knowing a bit more the topic we will start developing the topics and different subsubjects in the content of our work.

AQUA BUS CITY TOUR

1. AQUA BUS
The AQUABUS is a custom made Hydra
Terra model amphibious vehicle designed
and built by C.A.M.I LLC., in Bluffton, South
Carolina, USA. Each vehicle is US Coast
Guard

certified

and

approved

as

passenger vehicle for use on roadways.

The AQUABUS is 39 feet long by 8 feet wide with capacity for 47 passengers
and 2 crew members (the operator and the guide).
This amphibious vehicle came from the concept of the DUKWs which were
used by the US military during World War II to transport goods and troops to
places that required a wet landing. The name DUKW was given by the General
Motor Company, company that built the first prototype.
The AQUABUS is a 2011 second generation Hydra Terra vehicle with a 300 HP
Caterpillar Diesel Engine, electronic steering, Allison heavy-duty transmission,
Perkins 400 D auxiliary engine, GKN driveline, Uniden VHF marine radio,
Fireboy fire extinguishing system and Manex air conditioning system. The
vessel is also equipped with life jackets for all passengers and crew.

2. TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
The tour is established in the following way:
Depart from: Albrook Mall, Dolphin Hall
Cinta Costera: Enjoy your first dip in the
water. Take a look at the city with tall skyscapers and the Casco Viejo.

Casco Antiguo:

Casco Antiguo was established on January 21, 1673, as the second city in
Panama. It was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panam
city, Panam Viejo in 1671. Nowadays it still maintains and keeps its original
architecture and plazas. In 1997, it was designated a World Heritage Site by the
UNESCO.
La Playita of Amador:
The Causeway of Amador is one of
the

main

tourist

attractions

in

Panama. Prepare for your second

splash! While in the water, you will be
at the entrance of the Panama Canal
in the Pacific side. Take a look at the
Bridge of the Americas and observe
large ships waiting for their turn to
transit.
Flamenco Marina:
By far, the best views of the citys skyline can be seen from the Causeway. Here
you will experience your third dip in the water. Navigate outside the Marinas
breakwater to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Panama City.
Administration Building:
Drive along the administrative offices of the Panama Canal. The Panama Canal
Administration Building was inaugurated on July 15, 1914, exactly a month
before the Canal itself. Since then, this legacy from the past has continued to
dominate the Balboa area from atop its rolling hill.
Return: Albrook Mall

3. SCHEDULES

 The Aquabus will run from Wednesday to Sundays.

It will depart from the Albrook Mall at Dolphin Hall front of the Store
Puma. Albrook Mall is located behind the Marcos A. Gelabert Airport.

The tour has a duration of 2 hours.

CONCLUSION

We can conclude that this work, it was it more feasible be able to have an
immediate response on the part of Aqua Bus, unlike that performed earlier that
was difficult to have information.
It is very important for us to know all those tourist services in when to
transportation it refers, since it serves us to future to be able to have the
information and the contacts to the moment to realize a tour for to know the city
of a way different and entertained already be for a group of tourists or national.
About for Aqua Bus, though still we have not lived through this experience we
are charmed with quite what we have seen across video and photos.
The tours that they realize, the price, and benefits that offer are accessible for
all the persons.
