1. Qualifications
A. Common for New & Transfer student
- Any applicant whose parents, as well as the applicant, have foreign nationalities
- Any applicant who completed (or to graduate) high school in domestic or abroad
- Language Ability Qualifications(Only after May. 1st,2014 scores) :
Achieved level 3or higher on S-TOPIK
B. Transfer Students (2nd grade)
- Who completed or is going to complete university/ college curriculum more than one
year in a foreign country.
C. Transfer Students (3rd grade)
- Who completed or is going to complete university/ college curriculum more than two
years in a foreign country.

2. Academic Units
A. Medical college, dental college, pharmarcy college, and military college is limited for
international students
B. Available majors can be limited according to capacity.
** Mark departments conduct separate screening test,
Especially applicant for arts and physical education should take a practical test.

C. Facilities: A single bed (with drawers), a desk with a book-shelf, a chair, a

closet(mirror and shoe-rack attached), LAN cable, a telephone, a bed pad, vertical
curtains, and ceiling fan (Only for Green Village have a cooking space)
D. Students shall prepare a blanket, a pillow, a bed cover, a cloth hanger,
soaps and a toothbrush, slipper etc.
E. Convenient Facilities: Internet rooms, laundry room, common room, shower room,
etc.
F. Notice:

1) The dormitory fee will be able to be changed depend on schools situation.

2) All applicants accepted are allowed to live in the dormitory provided that their GPA
(grade point average) 2.0 on the last semester record.
3) All students who stay in the dormitory or new students must get medical check-up and buy
insurance.

7. Academic Information
A. Period: 4 years (2 semesters for one year, Total: 8 semesters)
- 1st Semester: March 2 - Aug. 31
- Summer vacation: End of June ~ End of August
- 2nd Semester: Sep. 1 - the last day of Feb of the next year
- Winter vacation: Middle of December ~ End of next February

8. Notes
A. Application to more than two majors is not allowed.
B. Dual nationalities and people with no proof of nationality will not accepted as foreign
students.
C. When applicant's names on documents differ, certificates issued by their district
courts certifying that the names on the documents match with the person who has
applied should be submitted.
D. If it is found that accepted documents have been forged or illegally altered,
acceptance will be nullified.
E. Items not specified in the guideline are handled by regulations of Chosun University.
F. No temporary absence from university is allowed in the first semester after entrance
with the exception of cases specified in the regulations of the University.
G. The presented documents will not be returned only except applicants ask them.
H. Getting a final admission, the passed applicants must submit a certificate
of overseas travel insurance within 30days after joining US 150$ Insurance
in Korea.
I. When applicant cancel the registration, the registration fee refund remittance
charges are paid by applicant.
