Fabrication & Analysis of Al-6062 Composite by FRICTION STIR PROCESSING (FSP) .

FSP is a method of preparing Metal Matrix Composites which are widely used in aerospace industries. The objective of this
project was to prepare MMC using SiC reinforced on Al-6062 to substitute the alloys used in aerospace industries
currently.
Fabricated Work-piece & Tool according to ASTM Standards for Experiments.
Structural Analysis and Tensile Test were done to study Strength & Flow Pattern of Material.
Performed Optical Microscopy (OM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Analysis to check Compatibility.
