Sept. 12, Mon - Ministry Team Meeting, 6 p.m., Board of Elders Meeting at 7 p.m. Thanks
for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement, suggestions,
etc. for our church, or if you have something you'd like to discuss or present at one of these
meetings, please share that with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed.
Sept. 14, Wed.-JBA and JGA, clubs for boys and girls 2nd through 5th grade, and Jr. Youth
(boys and girls 6-8th grade) will have their first meeting for the year at the Bowmansville
Mennonite Church from 7-8:30 p.m. Any child in these age groups is welcome to attend
this first "getting acquainted" evening!

Sept 15, Thurs.- Decision America Tour Prayer Rally with Franklin Graham at 12
p.m., Capitol at Soldiers & Sailors Grove 501 N 3rd St Harrisburg, PA 17120. Anyone
interested in attending this prayer event, please contact Pastor Phil.
Sept. 16, 17, & 18, Fri. & Sat.-7 p.m., Sun. 10 a.m.-We invite your prayers and
participation in our church's annual Spiritual Renewal Services. This year our resource
person is David Musser who spoke here in Dec. 2015 on generational patterns, and he
plans to share on these themes in more detail. Many of you expressed interest in
hearing more. Dave has served as a pastor, a licensed marriage and family therapist,
and executive director for River of Hope, (Christian counseling). Invite others who
might be blessed. A snack will follow the Fri. & Sat. evening services.
Sept. 18, Sun.-A hymn sing led by Adrian Nolt, Ephrata, will be held in the 1855
Allegheny Mennonite Meetinghouse on at 2 p.m., using the hymnbook, The Hymns of
the Church. Please bring your copy. Copies will also be provided. For more

Sept. 21, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will be meeting in the BMC
basement; morning and afternoon. All projects are for relief efforts around the world.
MCC special project for the month will again be school kits consisting of the
following new items only: 4 spiral or perforated notebooks (8 1/2 x 10 in & 70
sheets) 8 unsharpened pencils 1 ruler ( flat, flexible plastic; indicating both 30 cm &
12 in ), 12 colored pencils ( in packaging ),1 large pencil eraser. Items are distributed
in a useful double drawstring cloth bag which are provided by Sewing Circle.
Sept. 21, Wed.- The students at Adamstown Elementary School will meet for the first
Released Time. If anyone is interested in helping out, please see Darlene or Sylvia.
Released Time is a good way of sharing Jesus in our community.
Sept. 23, Fri.-6:30 p.m.-Cry Out! Simulcast at Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz
Hill Rd, Stevens. Join Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, Joni Eareckson Tada, Bob Bakke,
Stephen Kendrick, Kay Arthur, Janet Parshall, and more for the Cry Out! Simulcast.
This nationwide prayer event for women will be a time for us to link arms to cry out to
God for our homes, our churches, our nation, and our world. Will you join us?
