*NOTE: Because footbags work best with little to no thread inside the bag in order to make room for as many
plastic pellets as possible, this pattern is worked in the round for only the first few rounds, and then rows so as
to minimize the amount of cut, loose thread. The end result is still a round ball, but I chose this creative
workaround, again, to minimize loose thread in what is an attractive footbag in its final state. The directions are
as detailed as possible, so have faith and follow them carefully.
POKBALL FOOTBAG

Rnd2: 2 sc into each sc around pulling Color C through last 2 loops, sl st into mk sp, ch 1, pl mk (12)
Rnd3: *sc1, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * to * to end pulling Color B from Rnd2 thru last 2 loops, sl st into mk

(You are going to want to pull thread around to the front of your work on these odd-numbered rows. For
example, just before switching out any color for the next, pull the last used color to the front of your work so
that you are keeping the thread always on one side of the worked pattern.)
R5: 2 sc into 1st sc, sc3, 2 sc into next sc, sc2 pulling Color C thru last 2 loops, sc1 pulling Color D thru 2 loops,

pulling Color C thru 3 loops, sc1 pulling Color B thru 2 loops, sc2tog, sc1, sc2tog, w/ closest strand of
Color C sl st into mk sp, ch 1, pl mk, do not turn (12)
Place empty footbag on a scale, if available, and set to grams. Use the funnel, if necessary, to pour plastic
pellets into footbag. Pour in as much as you can getting the weight between 40 45 grams. Regulation weight
footbags vary between 20 70 grams, but you want to fill the bag as much as possible so that it maintains its
circular shape. You dont need a scale to make and enjoy this footbag. These instruction are just for the footbag
purist.
R15: sc2tog 6 times, sl st, BO
Weave in end.
