King Rama VII is the king of Thailand who was named as one of the UNESCOs Great
Personalities of the World. He is the one who make a revolution against Thailands governing system from
the absolute monarchy. He has been studying abroad before coming back to Thailand and decide to
apply what he studied to Thai governing system. Also he played the role in improving Thailands
education system to be more modernized to the situations in the world. But the important change is the
changing of the governing system. But he is not the only one who cause that changes in Thailand. Pridi
Banomyong also played the great role in order to influence the change from absolute monarchy to
democracy. Pridi Banomyong also has been studying abroad and he gained a lot of ideas of govern style
from other countries and he thought that Thailand should also have a change too. So, he led the protest
during the King Rama VII period and ask for the change. In fact, King Rama VII also want this change to
occur too but he thinks that its not the time for this change but finally, he was forced by Pridi Banomyong
to sign and allow the changes to occur in Thai society. That is the reason why Pridi Banomyong was also
named as one of the UNESCOs Great Personalities of the World. We thinks that the coup that is led by
Pridi Banomyong give Thailand a lot of advantages because it help Thailand to become more developed.
Also, by looking at his work, all learners will get to gain a lot of knowledge about his personality, his
thought as well as the politics and the situations within that period of time in Thailand. If Thailand still use
the absolute monarchy, the way that the country run many be worse and we will be less developed. This
may led to colonizations because the other country will think that we are weaker and they should come in
and develop our country. Also the change increase the chance for the citizens in the country to help
developing country and make the decisions in the country. OTher than that, he mad Thailand become
even more peaceful. Looking back at that time, he made the right decision in order to handle the situation
and stop the chaos very well. According to this change, there are 2 importants day that are related to
democracy. First day is June 24, 1932 which is the time that Siamese revolution take place. It was the
time that siamese protest to change the government system from absolute monarchy to constitutional
monarchy. Another day which is different from this day is December 10, 1932 which is the day that the
first constitution of Thailand is published by the King Rama VII. Both of the 2 days are similar because the
big change that are related to governing system has been occurred.
Thailand is now becoming one of the member of the ASEAN community which included 10
countries within Southeast asia region with the purpose of accelerating economics growth, society and
cultural improvement. Of course if there are a lot of country, there will be the differences in culture or
ideas. The most important things in order to work together and complete our goal is to respect the cultural
differences. Respect for cultural diversity is important because each country has their own traditions and

rules, also because different culture has different tradition rules that is easily to be the beginning of
revolution. Some culture can able to do the same thing with others, however there are some country that
has different perspective and tradition so thats may be rude for them to do so we need to pay respect to
cultural diversity in each country in ASEAN.
We are learners who love to earn knowledge. We are expected to have an opportunity to visit
these three place. We hope that we going to earn more information about the revolution that occurs in the
period of king rama VII and know more about Pridi Banomyong informations to be more understand the
truth on that moment because if we only study by using text is totally hard to understand without
visualization. Also the informations that we have are less than the one that comes from narrator in the
museum.Other than that the facts that we are learning from the internet may gives us wrong informations
about that specifics events. Therefore visiting the place may help us to understand better and We believe
that the knowledge that we will get from visiting the place will be somehow useful for us in the future and
