The Author of this book is Apostle Sidelo,
he is a married man of God who is
originally from Mthatha in the Eastern
Cape. I am the founder and Director at
Everlasting Joy Ministry International,
God has blessed me with a beautiful wife
and has given us two kids a Girl and a Boy
Onako and Lunganele. I am a family man
who love and respects his wife, as we are
leaders in the work of God, I work together with my wife by my side, its a
wonderful thing to work for God with your family, and Im so grateful to God for
giving me such a wonderful opportunity to lead His people towards their God given
Destiny. In this book I want to open wide the understanding and spiritual ability to
worship God. It also enlightens the mind on the effectiveness of worship. I share the
most best ingredients of effective worship, they may look simple but when you grasp
them and apply them in your life they will change your life forever. Worship is
understood by many people as just singing but according to my knowledge worship is
not only that it is an expression of the heart, what the heart feels about God is
expressed in the outward through worship. The effectiveness of worship lies on the
understanding and use of the five ingredients. This tells that there is a combination
of different aspects of worship.
The simplicity of worship begins from the heart just a s the word of God says my
heart will sing Psalms 57:7-8 David is expressing his feeling towards God in worship
he says my heart is steadfast O God my heart is steadfast I will sing and make music
and in verses 8 he says awake my soul which tells that worship is the awakening of
the soul. When the soul is awake it gives a different expression towards God and God
is glorified in the worship from the heart.

In this chapter i just want to introduce the five ingredients of worship, effective worship is
based on the above ingredients, they just go together you cannot separate one from the other if
one is failing the whole focus is shifted ,when focus is not there direction is misty and worship
without direction is empty. Whenever we worship we must direct our worship to God and God
alone because he said in his word He is a jealous God Exodus 20:3-5 he emphasized that we
do not bow down and worship other gods, there's also a warning of a generational punishment
which clearly states that God is serious about worship..
The first ingredient to effective worship is your body, my friend your means a lot to God that is

why he took his time to make your body from the dust, in his heart he knew that your body will
bring Him glory. Genesis 2:7
The second one is the mind oh boy what a place, when the mind is set to worship God it opens
a door to your soul, I use to teach this in my church that the mind is the door to your life
whatever enters the mind goes straight to your life, if you pollute your mind you pollute your
life.
The third one is the soul if you feel like saying it say with these words from mind to soul, in
order for worship to touch your soul let it defeat your mindset first, when your mind set is
defeated by worship your soul will be overwhelmed by the same worship. The soul is the center
ingredient of worship because every worship that comes from the soul touches the heart of God
Psalms 103:1.
The fourth one is the heart, it is heartbeat of effective worship because it is the center of faith.
Jesus said to the disciples let not your heart be troubled, believe or trust in God and trust also
in me, so the heart is the center of faith and without faith it is impossible to please God
Hebrews 11:6 , faith gives power to worship because when you worship you touch God and you
cannot touch God if you don't have faith in Him.
The fifth one is truth it is the overall power of worship, worship without truth is emptied of its
power. Jesus talk about true worshipers and he stated that this kind is not everyone but those
who worship God in spirit and truth John 4:23 he also added that the father seeks for such to
worship Him God is searching for worshipers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Chapter one
The secret of body worship
The body is the best part of worshipping God, there are different ways of worshipping God through
the body, some can dance, some worship God by the way they dress their body when they look at the
mirror they dress for the glory of God, they make it a point that God is glorified in their clothes. Body
worship can look small but it has an important role in the life of a Christian.
Many Christians overlook their bodies some even say God lives in the heart, so meaning it doesnt
matter how you live and how you dress your body but to my surprise when the children of Israel wanted

to hear a word from God, God commanded that they wash their clothes and not defile themselves by
women, Exodus 19:10 as God is a holly God he wanted them to be clean physically and morally clean
because there is a saying cleanliness is closer to Godliness. When the body is clean and well-dressed it
brings glory to God, and the spirit of God feels free to indwell in that body.
The bible records that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in us, 1Corinthians 6:19-20
it adds by saying this Holy Spirit dwells in us and comes from God, then in closer he says honor
God with your body, this clearly tells me that my body must bring honor to my God in whatever I am
doing, and in every side of life. Honoring God with my body is part of worship, worship must be our
daily bread we need to live worship, and it must be part of our daily lives.
The Apostle Paul is teaching us something about body worship, in the 12 chapter of the book on
Romans he explains the importance and the benefits of worshipping God in our bodies. He urges the
brethren to give their bodies to God in other words to worship God in their bodies, he says by the
mercies of God this tells that there is a need for Gods grace and mercy in our body worship. In verses 2
he teaches us not to conform to the pattern of this world he clearly says that there must be a difference
between us and unbelievers, now body worship marks that difference in everything Romans 12:1-2

In closing this chapter I want us to know that our bodies are very important to God let us grab this truth
and take it to the Nations, that everyone may know that God is glorified in our bodies. The secret is in
living a holy life with your body, stay away from everything that can defile your body because it is the
temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you. That body of yours is carrying the treasure of God as the
bible records that we are carrying a treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of power may be to
the glory of God

Chapter two
Your Mind is the battle ground

In worship theres always a battle between two kingdoms the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness,
these two kingdoms are always contrary like the spirit and the flesh as quoted in Galatians 5:16 in the
above heading I quoted Your Mind is the battle ground because the battle is in your mind, the enemy is
after your Mind to stress you to death, to worry you to death, the devil knows well that when your mind
is free from stress and worry it will be much easy for you to worship God, but I have a solution to that
problem, my friend the only solution is to stick to the word of God, to feed your mind with the word in such
that there be no space for stress and worry, this cannot happen overnight it takes time, the more you spend
time in the word the more worry has no place. In the clear sense in order to get rid of the enemy from your
mind go for the word of God, by doing so you will get rid of him in your bank account, in your check book,
in your family and in everything you dont want him to touch, this is like saying get your filthy hands off
me Satan by this you are putting him to his place, and theres a song which says Satan is under our feet,
and it continues to say Jesus is all over me in other words the singer meant to say his/her mind is filled
with Jesus and Jesus is the word.
In the life of Daniel the focus of the mind is revealed when he decided in his heart not to defile himself with
the Kings food, it was an opportunity of a life time to be at the table with the King but because of his mind
set he refused, not everyone can refuse such an offer unless his/her mind is set on living Gods will. Many
Christians undergo this process but they fail to refuse, I say thumbs up for Daniel because he stood for
what he believed, he was shaken but he never moved, let it be the same to you my friend stand for what you
believe no matter what.
Let us go deep in the worship of the mind, you mind has the power and ability to worship God and live the
will of God, I want us to check this on scripture, the bible records these words I will pray with my mind
and I will pray with my spirit, 1Corinthians 14:15, dont be confuse my friend prayer is part of worship
and it includes the service of the mind, when you pray if your mind is not focused your prayer will be in
vain. When the author said I will worship with my mind and I will worship with my spirit these two work
together that is why is said in the first chapter you can not separate these ingredients because they support
each other, you worship with the mind and also worship with the spirit.
In closure of this chapter I want you to mark this, your mind is the battle ground only for this one reason it
is the engine of worship when worship is lost in the mind the body also is lost, tell yourself these words
dont lose it my mind, the bible teaches us to frame our thinking, in the book of Philippians4:8 it says
Finally brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable, let us explain some truths in this passage of scripture, the bible says whatever is

true when it tells like this I think of worship it is one the things which are true in this world thats why God
is in search for true worshipers, its only because worship is true, then it continues to say whatever is noble
God wants to walk with people of a noble character, the bible records in Proverbs 31:10 a life of a women
of noble character oh my God it says who can find, she is worth far more than rubies, in verses number 11
it says his husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing, a noble character is a decent character,
or principled character oh my friend may you have this character to worship God with your mind,
therefore God is glorified in the worship of your mind.
Worship in the mind is effective when we have managed to frame our thinking towards the right direction,
dont let your mind think evil in your daily life. the birds can fly above you but they cannot make a nest
on you I mean to say evil thoughts will come to your mind but dont let them indwell your mind and
feel at home in your mind, a certain man of God shared this example when you are sitting under a tree on
a shade and suddenly falls a snake from the tree to your arm, you immediately and fast enough with all
your power throw it down before it bites you, and thats how you need to deal with evil thoughts in your
mind, cast them out before they bite you, cast them out of your mind immediately before they make home in
your mind.
You are such a powerful child of God you can do this, the Spirit of God is always there for you to help you
up, remember the day you defeated the devil in your sexual life oh my God remember the day you cast him
out of your family and he fled, oh boy you are powerful, remember when you told him that his place is
under your feet, remember when you couldnt make it but the Holy Spirit lifted you up. That same power
who lifted you up is right where you are right now just allow Him to touch as you read this book, this
book is specially written for you to enlighten your mind that, you are powerful, so powerful in such that the
Angels of God are around you right now to watch over you because you are powerful, believe what am
telling you my friend, Greater is He that is in you than the one in the world 1John 4:4 you have an
Anointing from the Holy One you are powerful, the devil knows you are powerful then show him that you
are really powerful. 1John 2:20.

Chapter three
THE SOUL
The soul is the deepest part of worship , worship from the soul goes with the heart that is why in the next
chapter I will talk about worship from the heart. Let us start this chapter from the word of God in
Deuteronomy 4:29, in this passage of scripture starting from verse one the children of Israel were about to
cross the Jordan river to the land which God has promised them, now their leader Moses was equipping
and exhorting them with the words of God, warning them not to worship other gods, in verses 29 he goes
straight to the point that if in that land you seek God you will find him if you look for him with your heart
and with all your soul. God is only found by those who seek him with all their hearts and souls. Now the
soul is the place of seeking God this surprises me to know that even God is busy searching for those whose
heart and souls seek him Lamentations 3:25 .
Worship from the soul is connected to need of God, in other words soul worship is what God needs, as the
children of God we need to learn to worship God from our souls. David one of the greatest singers in the
world wrote a song which says bless the Lord oh my soul and everything that is within me bless his holy
name he knew that God is a holy God and needs the worship from the soul.
Worship form the soul is the expressed in the mouth and facial expression, when the children of Israel
crossed the red sea on dry ground Moses and Miriam sang a song, in that song there are words which say
the horse and its rider hurled in the sea God showed his great power to the children of Israel and they
worshipped him with a song.
When am about to close this chapter I want to share this experience of Paul and Silas, the bible records
that it was the midnight hour, and the midnight hour is an hour that comes for everyone, in life you may
feel that it is mid night but Ive got a surprise for you my friend , right in that situation. Paul and Silas
were severely beaten and thrown into the inner prison and the jailer was commanded to guard them, they
did not panic or ask God questions that why us of all people but in the mist of their distress they worshiped
God. The bible records that they were singing and praising God with their chains, but suddenly there was
and earthquake that shook the prison to its foundation and the chain fell off from all the prisoners not to
Paul and Silas only but to all the prisoners this tells me that worship has no favorites and worship is not
selfish it sets free everybody around you, when you worship God you are lifting someone in your mist, their
worship opened the doors of the inner prison oh my God this is mind blowing only by worship the chains
fell the doors opened people set free by worship, my friend I may not know your prison but my advice
is that worship God right there in your prison, then you will see the power and the effectivity of worship.

Chapter four
The Heart of worship
In this Chapter I have to say my friend but I cannot have enough ink to describe everything that is in my
heart, but I challenge you to grab this truth and put it into action in your daily life. My title of the chapter
The heart of worship I like this title because I am going to teach you some truths on worship from the
heart, firstly lets start here God has a cry of people who worship him with their mouths when their heart
are far from him Matthew 15:8-9 here the Messiah is quoting the words of the prophet Isaiah, this is the
cry of God that people are near to him with their mouths but their hearts are far from him Isaiah 29:13.
Today my friend I wat us to uproot that way of worship , I want us to launch into the deep on the heart of
worship, I pray God to develop that hearts in your life today.
In the book of Psalms 24:3-10 the bible is asking a question and also gives an answer as to who shall
ascend into hill of the Lord, who may stand in his holy place, he who has clean hands and a pure
heart..continues. the bible reveals the heart in a persons life as the one who has clean hands
and a pure heart and it qualifies him to stay in the holly place, and it continues to say lift up your heads oh
you gates that the king of glory may come in in other for us yo have the heart of worship we need to open
our hearts for the King of glory to come in

Worship is the key to entering the Presence of God David said I will
worship God as long as I live Psalms 63:4 this clearly indicates that worship
is not for some days
to develop in life

but its a lifetime habit which every Christian has
