The aim of this experiment 1 is to differentiate between plant cell and animal cell.

Plant and
animal cell has obvious difference where we can differentiate them structurally. Moreover,
this simple experiment did not used complex or sophisticate machines. We just used light
microscope to observe the onion cell and cheek cell. The onion and cheek cell were observed
under microscope at 4x, 10x and 100x. Furthermore, onion and cheek cell could be observed
and differentiate easily as they were has different cell structure and organelles that obviously
state which type of cell they were in. In this field of study, organelles and structure of the cell
will classified the cell in different category. So, even though the cell was so small and cannot
be observed by naked eye, we still can see the cell. To observe the whole organelles of the
cell, it must be done using electron microscope to see the organelles. But, in this experiment
simple light microscope also can be used to differentiate the type of cell. As an example,
onion cell is plant cell. Plant cell contains cell wall which is easily to be found in the
microscope. Vacuole also can be seen clearly when observed under the microscope.
