1 I think in 50 years' time, flies will become gigantic, thanks to science, and they will be used

for transport.
This type of transport will be called : FLY TRANSIT.There will be seats on the back of this
insect for passengers.Flies will be used only for short routes, because, if journeys are too long,
the flies will tire.
For long routes, the people of the future will use rockets. They will be like cars nowadays ;
every family will have one.
When they go on holidays, most people will go to the moon, with their rockets, and will stay
in a hotel, or in their house.The principal activity on the moon will be werewolf-hunting. If
they don't like this place, they will go to undersea cities, to practise scuba diving.
I hope I will be alive to see all this!

2 WILL YOU TAKE UP THE GAUNTLET ?

Since the human race appeared,the Earth is picking on us ???. Indeed,the Earth imposes limits
on us, but I truly believe that the roles are going to change in a short period, especially thanks
to new forms of transport. Just forget your life for a moment and imagine yourself in a
different world : welcome to the 22nd century.
It is seven oclock a.m. Like every morning you eat your breakfast and you dress yourself.
Thirty minutes later, you are ready to commute to work. Before leaving, you take the bin out
and you meet your neighbour whos on his flying-ironing-board. Today you dont take your
own board because you have a meeting in another continent. So you go upstairs, you enter
your canon. BAM . Five minutes later, you have crossed the Pacific ocean. Youre almost
late.
Summer is approaching,and you have nothing planned for your holidays. You open a tourism
magazine which proposes very cheap travel. Last year, you went to the Earths center but you
found it too warm, thats why you want to change. Then you see an advertisement for galaxy
travel, but you know how easy it is to get ill in space, so you look for another trip. Finally,
you discover this one : a company has experimented a time-travelling-machine, and is
searching for volunteers for its maiden voyage. Will you apply for it ?

3 Galaxy Travel Competition!

In 50 years time, forms of transport might have totally changed. Traditional ways of travelling
might not be the same. Researchers and everyone on earth wonder about what these forms of
transport will be like. Imagination has no limits! Science-fiction can prove it.
I think that in 50 years time, it will be easier to travel, maybe safer. We might
cover long distances in a very short time!
Machines will divide travellers in tiny particles that will go from one part of
the universe to another at the speed of light. Tramways and tubes will be a
thing of the past, workers will leave home in bubbles which will take them to
work. Forms of transport will respect the environment, with no more noxious
gas emissions.
In 50 years time, I'll take my holidays on Mars. I'll go there with the particle
machine and I'll take advantage of the sun with special sunglasses and I'll visit all
the museums about Martians, and science fiction history.

4 In the next 50 years transport may improve, so what will our holidays be like? And how will
we travel?
In 50 years I hope that a new huge nature-friendly fuel will power our engines and replace
nuclear energy. New anti-gravity cars will be floating over our heads like in some movies and
will be powered by wind or sun energy.
People who have old cars and who cannot afford to buy a new anti gravity car will be allowed
to transform their old cars into hovercraft and will use them to travel all around the world.
I hope that I will spend future holidays on the moon or maybe in the ocean. To go to these
new holiday destinations I would like to go up in a shiny silver rocket as in my childhood
dream.
I hope all this will be possible thanks to new technology. But my guess is that all will be
possible but very expensive and all flights to the moon will be booked by rich people.
5 GALAXY TRAVEL, OUR FUTURE !

Since our childhood, I am sure that most of us have dreamt about travelling to
different galaxies. Some nights, we open our window and watch the stars, wondering what it
is like up there. We might find an answer to this question in a few years time. Because of
technology all our wishes could come true.

I think that in 50 years time, we will be using different forms of transport like rocket or space
shuttle to travel in an interplanetary world, because travelling on the earth will be a thing of
the past. This new style of travel will take place in space, between the stars or on some other
planet like Mars! We will meet extraterrestrials who live very far away from us. This fantastic
discovery will change our lives because a lot of people will be very interested by that and by
the new people who live there.

6 Space Invaders
Welcome to our article dedicated to the future! You might be reading this in the plane, but do
you think we will still be using planes in fifty years time ? If you have ever dreamt of seeing
Mars from your space-rocket, while going to work, be sure this article is for you !
In the not too distant future, we will all have flying cars, as it will be the fastest and
simplest way to commute. These cars will be telescopic so that there will be no parking
problems and, furthermore, we will be able to go to the top of skyscrapers without using the
elevator. I hope that we will find an ecological fuel to be able to preserve our Earth from
pollution in the next 5 or 10 years, at worst.

Nonetheless, flying cars wont be used to travel from one planet to another (as we will, for
sure, be living on lots of other planets). So, when we go to holidays, for example to Pegasus
galaxy, or for those who work far away from home, we will take our personal space-rocket,
or a transgalactic liner, which will be the future equivalent of today's aeroplane.
Whatever the future holds, we have to hope we will have saved our Earths Health, so that
new trips and holidays to different galaxies become ecological/ environmentally friendly.

Don't you often ask yourself what the world will be like in 2060 ? Wouldn't you like to take a
journey through time to see all this? What forms of transport will we be using ? Where will
we take our holidays ?
In 50 years' time, scientists will have made a lot of progress, as they have done over the years.
To my mind, we will be able to drive flying cars. There will not be roads anymore, but just
airlifts. We will be able to move at incredibly fast speeds. A Parisian ,for example,will go to
Marseille in ten minutes without having to take the plane with other travellers. And there will
be urban subways under ground, four times faster than those of nowadays. And all of this will
be cheaper than today ! Yes, because of the consumer society which will continue to develop,
unfortunately for the planet. But that will not really be a big problem in 50 year's time.
With progress and the huge place which space is, we will have discovered other planets with
indispensable resources to allow human beings to live. Maybe there will be other beings, on
these planets. If you read the book of the fabulous science fiction writer John T.Price,

 Orion you will get a glimpse of what these new planets will be like, with other kinds of
beings different from those existing on the Earth today. Since my childhood, I have always
dreamt of being launched in a rocket towards that final frontier. I hope in 2060, people will
spend some of their holidays on the moon or in a rocket ! All of this seems improbable. But, if
you think of all the technological evolutions which have occurred over the last 50 years, you
will agree that it's possible.
I'm sure that, reading this article, you dream of taking holidays on the moon. For the moment,
it's almost impossible, unless you have a good imagination : build your imaginative future
world with John T.Price's staggering stories. It will give you a taste of this life !

When I imagine the future, I envision a very different lifestyle. People wont be in
a hurry because they will be using faster types of vehicles than we have now. In
addition, people might be able to travel to space resorts, allowing us to choose
different places to go for our holidays. When I think of the future, I can see
countries without roads. It is green everywhere as people dont need cars for
transportation. I dream of people flying small aircraft which they park in their
futuristic houses. Cities will be empty of cars and have many open spaces with a
lot of trees. Nowadays, we have to spend too much time going from one place to
another. The time we spend actually moving is becoming less and less, and I
think (or I hope) in the future we can travel to other places with remote point to
point. (I could not understand the meaning of this sentence)Therefore, people
wont spend their precious free time going from one place to another. We will be
able to spend our holidays in not only in space resorts, but also in countries
where there arent any roads and which have a healthier environment. I could see
people traveling to other planets or even to other galaxies.
