Re: National Watercolor Society 2016 Traveling Show

Dear Art Patron,
Southern Arts Society (SASi) is excited to host the National Watercolor Society (NWS) Traveling Show for
the month of October, 2016. There are four stops across America for this prestigious show and we are the
ONLY east coast venue. The exhibit consists of 31 paintings from around the world selected for the traveling
show after being juried into the prestigious NWS International Exhibit held in San Pedro, CA last year.
This show will bring hundreds of visitors from all over the region into Kings Mountain to spend their time
and money in our city. Although free to us from the NWS, we have many costs connected to putting on a
show of this magnitude. Expenses include shipping, insurance, advertising, special programs and security.
Your sponsorship is needed in helping us bring this special exhibition to Kings Mountain.
SASi will kick off the NWS Traveling Show with two events. The Patrons Premier Night on Friday
September 30, from 6-8 pm, is an exclusive celebration for sponsors and invited guests. Sponsor levels
begin at $50 and include an invitation to our Patrons Premier Night. This private reception features heavy
hors doeuvres, North Carolina wines, and live music with harpist Claire Marie Stam. Dress is semi-formal.
The levels of patronage with invitations to Patrons Premier Night are:
Five Star $1000 10 tickets
Four Star $500 8 tickets
Three Star $250 6 tickets
Two Star $100 4 tickets
One Star $50 1 ticket
Sponsors will be recognized in our press releases, event program, and social media, so please send in
your sponsor form by September 15, to be included in our publicity.
Our public reception on Saturday October 1, from 6-8 pm, is free to attend for everyone. Dress is artsycasual. Please join us as we welcome this exquisite international exhibition of original water media to
Southern Arts Society in Kings Mountain.
