Nationwide Awakening Campaign On
CONSTITUTION DAY-2015
Dear Mulnivasi Bahujan Friends!
You all know that BAMCEF is committed to spread ideology of our forefathers, so as to
uproot Brahmanism, the spirit of inequality and establish an egalitarian society. In this
endeavor BAMCEF has been conducting awakening camps, cadre camps, state
conventions, national conventions, Mulnivasi Melas, seminars and symposiums, etc. In
the same vein Constitution Day Celebration is one of the routine programs that have
been initiated by BAMCEF.
Background
The Constitution of India was dedicated to the nation on 26 th November 1949 and it was
promulgated on 26th January 1950 by the then government in the name of Republic Day
and gradually it has become a tradition. In the course of these happenings it is noticed
that the intellectuals of our Mulnivasi Bahuajn Samaj have made independent research
on the political history of these events and started celebrating 26 th November as
Constitution Day. On the other hand majority of our people consider governments
observance of 26th January as Republic Day in its traditional spirit and in a subtle form as
Constitution Day. Although we are well aware of the history behind the concept of
republic day and the constitution day but the public in general is not aware of it.
Therefore BAMCEF in its strategic perspective of Phuley- Ambedkarite movement has
decided to awaken the masses about the same and decided to celebrate 26 th January as
Constitution Day so as to make an appropriate use of the national holiday and also to
celebrate 26th November, the day of enactment of the constitution as Mulnivasi Rights
Day. Accordingly a nationwide awakening campaign has been designed through a series
of symposiums to be held on the following subject.
Subject: Brahmanic Forces of Inequality, against the Constitution of EqualityWhy and How?
The Constitution revolves around the citizens of the country. The preamble of the
Constitution clears that We, the people of India to secure to all its citizens:
Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity assuring the dignity of individual and

the unity and integrity of the Nation. However, despite of 65 years of Republic no
justice is being done to Mulnivasi Bahujan samaj. Those who assert for their
constitutional rights are brutally killed. Every day there is news of rapes of women. The
perpetrators of crime are freely moving in the society. There is neither justice nor
equality. There is vast difference in the economic life of the people. The poor is becoming
poorer and the rich is becoming richer. So the question arises, does it really require 65
years to bring about constitutional change? Our understanding is that it should not take
so much time as India is the largest Republic in the world having rich human and natural
resources. Also when Japan which was destroyed in 1945 in the Second World War could
establish itself at No.3 in the world economy in a very short duration, then why India is
lagging behind?
In this context we must remember that Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar while
dedicating the Constitution to the Nation had said, Howsoever good the constitution
may it be, if it lands in the hands of bad people it will not yield good results. According
to our understanding there are two reasons for the delay to bring about constitutional
change in the society. Firstly in India the Constitution has not only landed in the hands of
the Brahmanical Forces who believe in the philosophy of graded inequality and
discrimination on the basis of caste but also they are dishonest towards the objectives of
the constitution and their objectives are contrary to the objectives of the constitution.
Secondly the masses i.e. People of India who resolved to secure to all its citizens and
more so to themselves- justice, liberty, equality and fraternity and dignity, are not aware
about their rights enshrined in the constitution. So we believe that, unless the masses
are made fully aware of their constitutional rights and helped to liberate the constitution
from the clutches of the Brahminical forces the dream of the constitution would not be
realized. Hence we have decided to expose these forces long with their intents and
means against the constitution through the critical deliberations on the subject.
Therefore, your active support, contribution and participation is highly solicited to make
this event a grand success and strengthen Phule-Ambedkarite movement for social
revolution through the constitution of India.
