Career Objective
My immediate career objective is to gain knowledge in the industry and
familiarise myself with duties and responsibilities in urban and environmental
planning. From current experience within the Council of the City of Gold Coast I
have become increasingly interested in city greening, sustainable living and
planning for future generations. Currently I am looking for a future position
within a town planning consultancy.

The New Colombo Plan is a signature initiative of the Australian


Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo- Pacific in Australia
by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake
internships in the region.

Exposed to different cultures and a range of alternative planning issues


particularly due to the age of cities visited. Extensive public transportation
options with limited open space.

Texas (Dallas): Exchange Student from July to December 2010.

Exposure to tremendous urban sprawl that was largely spread out poorly
accommodated by minimal public transportation. No mixed-use
development or water sensitive urban design strategies.
