* the montage is edited to match the length of the song , though one verse has been
left out
* most shots are linked to the next, via DISSOLVES , often with considerable
superimposition
* the last few images remain superimposed on one another to create an almost
abstract effect
* the dog starts being recorded by Sam but later shots are from performance
( different costumes, setting)
* repeated care flashes coincide with the few CUTS ; sunshine cf. flash
* ostensibly the recording of the song but several shots suggests singing in in
concerts also , and the juxtaposition of June's picture suggests he is singing or her
as much as for Vivian for whom he wrote it.
Cinematography
Cinematography, the art and technology of motion-picture photography. It involves
such techniques as the general composition of a scene ; the lighting of the set or
location ; the choice of cameras, lenses, filters, and film stock ; the camera angle and
movements ; and the integration of any special effects.
A BIOPIC
A sub genre of the larger drama and epic genres ; they have been popular since their
hey-day in the 1930s to right to today. These films depict and dramatise the life of an
important historical person ( or group ) from the past or present era. Sometimes
( often) historical biopics stretch the truth and tell a life story with varying degrees of
accuracy.
