WelcomeAutumn 2016
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this is
not from yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2v8)

Dear Friendsboth new and old,

In this great letter to the Ephesians that were looking at this term,

Paul has just been rejoicing and giving thanks for our spiritual blessings in
Christ. He has been praying that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened
to see everything that God has in store for his people and his incomparably
great power for us who believe. Paul now urges his readers to marvel at the
wonder of Gods gospel of salvation. Four 5-letter words sum up this
message (2v8-10) that we would do well to learn and live by.

We are saved, not by works, but by grace, through faith, for good works
