Know that on a personal and professional level, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your people
and the citizens of Dallas.
Look, you may not be able to answer these questions or have time and I COMPLETELY get that But if
you can, at some pointtoday, can you just clarify somethings for us here. I'll ask the questions I have
and If you can answer, do so In any manner you deem fit.
1. Was the bomb that was detonated by the robot a OPO bomb or the suspect's bomb?
2. Were any lED's found downtown? Have you (or feds) completed sweepfor them?
3. Last nightyou saidyou believed suspects were connected. 00 you havetangible evidence linking
them (I.e. cell phone records, notes, weapons, etc)?
4. You also said thatyou thought suspects had to have"Inside" information. else how would they know
where to post up? Do you stili believethatto be true?
5. Is there a spot that DPD has set up for the families of the deceased officers to gather?
e. Also last nIght, you saId you all had been working with marchorganizers? By that do you mean OPO
had gone to planning meetings or had some sort of talkswith organizers? Whatwere your men and
women supposed to be doing?
7.A1so. will you have to do any sort of shiftrestructuring sinceso many officers worked through the
night, and continue to work?
Again, Chief Brown, I hope you can answer these or some of them, but I understand that we are not the

Tonight it appears that two snipersshotten police officers from elevated"positions duringtheprotest/rally;
Threeofficers are deceased, two are in surgery andthreeare in critical condition. An intensive search for
suspects is currently underway. No suspects arein custody at thistime. Weask that any citizen withinformation

Chief, my deepestand sincerest condolences to you, your staff and all the men and women of DPD.
Know that on a personal and professional level, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your people
and the citizensof Dallas;
Lock, you may not be able to answerthese questions or have time and I COMPLETELY gat thal But if
you can, at some point today, can you just clarify somethings tor us here. I'll ask the questions I have

1. Was the bomb that was detonated by the robot a OPO bomb or the suspects bomb?
2. Were any lED's found downtown? Haveyou (or fads) completed sweep for them?
3. Last night you said you believed suspects were connected. Do you have tangible evidence linking
them (I.e. cell phone records, notes, weapons, etc)?'
4. You also said.that you thought suspects had to have"Inside" Infonnatlon, else how would they know
where to post up? Do you stili believe thatto be true?
5. Is there a spot that OPO has set up for the families of the deceased officers to gather?
6. Also last night, you said you all had beenworking with march organizers? By that do you mean OPO.
had gone to planning meetings or had some sort of talkswith organizers? What were your men and
woman supposed to be doing?
7.Also, wlJl you have to do any sort of shiftrestructuring sinceso many officersworked throughthe
night, and continue to work?

I'm not sura that any words that I can say would help ease the pain and suffering that you all feel at this

Our Officers, thankyou for what you do each and every day. We as a Community and City do not thank
you enough for the sacriffcesthat you make.Sammie, I added the Flreflghters becauseall First
Responders were goingto that scene last night with Ambulances and Fire Trucks. You support each
other well.

I'm very tired and weary of hearing about differentgroups that say THEIR lives matter. There I only
ONE group of LIVESTHAT MATTERllt Is the group of IIvea that GOD put on this Earth that matters. I
grew up as a young boy In church singing "Red and Yellow, Black and White, they are preciousIn his
sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world." Some folks have made statements that we have a
long way to go to fix this country and Its problems. I personally think that It Is a short distanceto go to fix
America. We need as a Nation to simply drop to our knees and pray to God to help us. I know that not
